Las Carboneras Flamenco Show, Madrid

The flamenco show was a fun experience in Madrid. We did not have the dinner before the show - many of those people were seated family style when we arrived and we were seated at high top tables around the outside of the room. I’m glad we were at a high top actually so we had a better view. It is a more intimate setting with a smaller stage and only four dancers not a big theater with dozens of performers. Each dancer had their own personal style and the singers and musicians were up on stage with them.

Reasonable performance, but nothing to write home about. 4 dancers, about 10 minutes a piece individually. No group performances and no connection with the audience. Drinks are €8-15 and the dinner is mediocre for the price. You can definitely do better in Madrid, but its also not terrible.

I’ve been to this show 7 times over the course of the last 10 years. I’ve taken friends, family and partners. Quique and the Carboneras team not only know how to put together a good cast of musicians, but the level of attention and customer centric approach is to be recognized. I highly recommend this place right around the corner from the San Miguel Market.

My wife and I attended the show tonight and we were very happy. It was recommended to us by two friends.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The setup was very intimate. There was only a few tables and you got to sit very close to the dancing.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and entertainment. We would go again.

El espectáculo es genial. La comida no es mala, pero tampoco es tan buena. Sin embargo, pagaría de nuevo el espectáculo con cena (todo el vino que quieras tomar)

Los bailaores son muy buenos, los cantaores y el guitarrista también. Ahora bien, el espectáculo dura una hora de reloj y es la primera vez en mi vida que veo flamenco sin bulerías, tangos ni fin de fiesta. Me gusta el flamenco, soy aficionado y no repetiré.
