Our students had a fantastic time. From start to finish they really enjoyed it. They explained it as an experience of a lifetime. They loved their host families and they made them feel part of the family. They enjoyed everything bout the culture and the school. They learned a lot of Spanish and enjoyed all the activities. I could not recommend CSS more they were so professional and really looked after the students. I would advise any student studying Spanish to go on the trip to Valencia! Thank you CSS for such a memorable experience for our students.

I spent 4 weeks on a TY programme in May 2019 in Torrent Valencia. It was the highlight of my TY year, I thoroughly enjoyed the time with my wonderful host family and host school. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive to me during my stay. My Spanish teacher - Carmena was just brilliant. I learned so much from her and from the other teachers - my language skills and comprehension improved hugely. This trip allowed total immersion into the Spanish culture and language - such an invaluable experience and learning. My free time was spent at the beach and heading in to Valencia City with my Spanish friends - every day was full of fun and adventure. The CSS Valencia staff could not do enough for me and I am so grateful to them. I'm planning on returning for a summer programme in 2020. If you are thinking of doing this TY programme - Just do it, you won't regret it. The best experience ever! Aoife

I cannot recommend Centre of Spanish Studies highly enough. My son Daniel has just returned from a fantastic month of study in a lovely school while living with a truly wonderful family. This is Daniel's second year to study with the Centre of Spanish Studies. He will be returning again next year. Daniel not only had a comprehensive, well thought out timetable but also had the opportunity to attend Art Academy three evenings per week. In addition to all this Daniel went swimming and cycling regularly also. Daniel felt that Liam really listened to him when planning Daniel's experience. Like last year Daniel had a wonderful family who embraced him as their own. He needed to come home for two days during this experience for a competition. The family went to great trouble to assist Daniel in booking his transfers from Valencia to Alicante. We appreciate the care and support Daniel received throughout his stay and he is very much looking forward to going back next summer.

My son (age 16) had a wonderful time in Valencia, having spent five weeks there as part of his TY year. His host family could not have been nicer. Together with CSS Valencia, they ensured he was well looked after and kept safe. Declan believes his Spanish improved significantly.

We sent our daughter to Valencia for a month during her TY year and it has been an experience of great value for her. She not only improved her Spanish, but she also made new friends, learnt about a new culture and experienced a different education system in a safe environment. It was her first time abroad for a long period and she enjoyed it. The staff at the Centre of Spanish Studies was very responsive and of great support and help both at planning stage and during the stay. I strongly recommend this experience! Thanks Liam and Alba!

CSS Valencia was on the whole a very positive experience for my daughter Emma. She gained a lot of independence & has grown personally from her 6 weeks. She made some really lovely friends, loved the school & teachers, in fact she wants to go back!

My son Daniel has just spent a wonderful three weeks at the Centre of Spanish Studies. He enjoyed and learned from the experience so much that we are sending him back next year. I found CSS staff to be highly professional. From my first contact with Liam who explained everything so well, to Evie the group leader who wrote a brilliant blog every evening. The programme is very good value as my son had excellent tuition, a wonderful array of activities and a lovely host family whom we will be requesting he stay with again next summer. I was particularly impressed by CSS' understanding of the Irish Junior and Leaving Certificate Spanish courses which is very helpful for Daniel's academic progress at home. Thank you to everyone at the Centre of Spanish Studies for giving my son such a positive grounding in Spanish.

My 16 year old boy went on the CSS TY Spanish programme for five weeks just before Easter 2018. We are delighted with his progress in Spanish since undertaking the programme. His ability and confidence in speaking Spanish has really improved, he made lots of Spanish friends in the school and he enjoyed his time there immensely!
