Hotel Cap Negret, Altea

The hotel is in a great location, with the sea literally a stones throw away. Its a 10 min walk into the centre of Altea (which is really pretty), and a 15 mins taxi into Benidorm.

I went in October which may have been the wrong time for a 20-something year old, as the average age of guest was substantially older.

The hotel was clean, and the food was as you'd expect from an all inclusive. There was always plenty for a good meal and to suit everyone's taste.

95% of the staff were really nice, but a couple of 'overly nice' waiters, and stand-off'ish people let it down a little.

Yo estuve del 20 al 27 de agosto. Fue una sorpresa que me dio mi chico. Estuvimos en una suite superior a media pensión. El hotel en general es muy bonito. Ya desde la recepcion hay unas vistas preciosas al mar. Nuestra habitación daba a un lateral con vistas muy bonitas de noche a Altea y al mar. La habitación era muy bonita y estaba limpia, la cama comodísima y la tele era enorme. La comida muy variada y muy buena, el arroz espectacular. En la zona de la piscina hay un chiringuito donde también se come muy bien. Las vistas desde la piscina muy bonitas también, hay acceso directo a la playa. La playa tiene un baño espectacular, pero eso si, imprescindible los escarpines!
El personal suuuper atento y muy amable.
En el momento en el que entré por la puerta desconecté del mundo real hasta que salí de allí. Justo enfrente del hotel hay un restaurante italiano donde también se cena muy bien y el personal es muy agradable! Y cenamos también en La Claudia y lo reccomendos también. Estas vacaciones hemos querido tirar la casa por la ventana y no nos arrepentimos! Altea es un lugar qie hay que visitar al menos una vez en la vida y si es haciendo noche en Cap Negret, mucho mejor!

I stayed for 7 days in September 2018 we up graded to a superior room for €140 looking over the pool and sea - unfortunately this is not an adult only hotel and even in September there were extremely annoying children not supervised by their parents - the pool area is clean but the sun beds are extremely close to each other so you have to be friendly with your neighbour- the restaurant is very very busy so it's difficult to take your time as you are continually being bashed by people- you have to fight to get a coffee at the machine as there are huge queues - the food quality is excellent and the choice is extensive - the room was excellent large and clean I had a coffee machine in my room which was handy - we were often woken up in the early hours with Spanish youth's in the pool where is security when you want them - there are 30 UK English TV channels - the LG tv is large and new - you have complimentary water and cans of soda in your fridge - the dressing gown is a nice touch and so is the complimentary flip flops - the weather is excellent a nice 29degrees all week - another bonus the hotel is near a train station so getting about is a doddle- all the staff without exception are uber polite- this is a great hotel to come and just relax - This is definitely not an adult hotel so be warned it's noisy and full of children- Sunday night is roast beef and I have to say the meat was superb but how can you have roast beef without roast potatoes or any veg not even peas - it's now 07: 30 in the morning and people are playing music out by the pool the guests of this hotel do not sleep - if you like to sleep don't come here - just a tip if you use the tram/train just up from the hotel make sure you press the green button as it's a request stop only at Cap Negret - to sum up great hotel excellent views fantastic food can be very busy and noisy at times

Just leaving here after a weeks stay. Beautiful clean hotel with lovely pool and sitting area. On saying that I found the staff unhelpful and for anyone with a disability I would not recommend this hotel or this area. Our room was supposed to have sea view which was blocked by a massive palm tree right in the middle at our balcony also noise from a wedding was terrible and right under our room.

Hotel reformado. Es un cuato estrellas merecido. Las instalaciones tanto interiores como exteriores comodas. Buffet bueno y el trato del personal muy bueno. Habitaciones limpias. Repetire sin dudarlo.

Llevo viniendo al Hotel Cap Negret desde hace 20 años, por lo que es obvio que sus servicios siempre me han encantado. El problema viene cuando desde hace unos años a esta parte se ha ido encareciendo cada vez más. Ese no es el problema, sino que el personal del propio hotel, cuando les consulté hace unos años, aseguró que los precios no subirían. Y así llegamos al día de hoy, en el que pago el triple que hace tres años por lo mismo.

Me ha encantado este hotel al lado de una playa de piedra (genial porque no te impregnas de arena), que te permite dormirte plácidamente con el rumor de las olas. Me gusta el diseño de la habitación reformada. Comida variada, destacando los pescados y las carnes a la placha (dos de cada clase tanto en la comida como en la cena) muy bien preparados por Nicolau, junto con unas ricas guarniciones de verduras al wok. Buena y rápida atención en el comedor, buen recibimiento en la entrada con la sonrisa de Suyeni, y buen servicio de todos, mencionando la amabilidad de Álvaro y la simpatía de Jhonny. Tambien positiva la atención en el chiringuito de la piscina (muy rico el mojito preparado por Sara). Lo único negativo es que no se nos informó bien del cambio al horario de invierno de la cena y el primer día tuvimos que cenar un poco apresurados.

Nice hotel food excellent fair walk to town though but on the flat buses do not run on time taxis worked out different prices ranges from 5 euros to 10 euros for same journey did not like reception asking us for extra money for room we already paid for beware

Just got back from a week at the Cap Negret. The hotel has some lovely features including a living wall on the front & very beautiful mature gardens. We stayed in a superior room which I would call average. The beds were fine but we had to pay extra for a firm pillow. "Very odd" Shower was excellent & the air con worked, if a bit noisy.
The bad points were food & drink. It was quite hard to get served in either bar, the staff just didn't seem bothered. The restaurant food was poor & always cold, we were very disappointed with every meal. The Hotel was not near anything else so you couldn't just go for a walk & pop in somewhere for a drink or a snack. Forgot to mention the swimming pool was excellent.
They had two parking spaces for electric vehicles but no charging points.

Superb. Yes it was in may. We are back here in September. Service not the same. Staff at pool bar terrible. Could not raise a smile from them. Arrogant and moody. Inside bar served worse sangria I've ever had. Probably out of a bottle.not made properly. Restaurant and reception staff very good. Entertainment staff very good. We felt it was not as good as in may.

Un hotel con vistas envidiables muy acogedor y de buen gusto, el servicio excelente por parte de todos, el Bufet muy variado, la animación movidita trasmite alegría justo lo q necesitamos en unas vacaciones 100% recomendables y probar los mojitos están de Muerte!

Jose y Ines el hotel fabuloso el personal un encanto el bufete buenisimo y variado los animadores muy divertidos y cariñoso lo recomendamos a se me olvidaba un centro de belleza estupendo

Beautiful hotel, room 151 has lovely view but if your in bed before 12 then the music from the entertainment area is very loud. It didn’t bother us much as most nights we were late to our room. Very good selection at breakfast and we found the food to be hot. Friendly breakfast staff, but can’t say the same about the bar staff, my husband felt invisible at the bar and could wait 10 minutes to be served even when there was no queue. A smile and a chat would have been lovely but never occurred, the inside bar staff were the same, a shame as we often left the bar unserved and went out for the evening. This was the opinion of most of the quests that we chatted to. The entertainment staff were quite the opposite, lovely friendly people. Altea is a lovely place, the old town especially

Fantastic hotel. We stayed for 7 nights.
Rooms have a kettle a safe hair dryer in bathroom.
Beautiful town and surrounding areas 10 minutes walk away from everything you need, like banks, restaurants, bars and shops.
Only issue I had, was the lifts have a mind of there own. Only 1 of the 3 lifts ever seemed to be working at any one time you'd go up to top floor when you want to go down, just to pick someone else up to finally go down. So I just ended up using the stairs.
Breakfast buffet style had a massive selection of food available.
A must is to visit the old town while here.

The hotel is rated 4 star.but we had a 5 star experience. Immaculate Hotel with very friendly staff. Food choices were through a buffet style serving.giving a nice variety of food to choose from. Nice Hotel swimming pool located only 5 mtrs from the sea. Evening entertainment was a bit of throw together. But booking again loved it.

Beautiful setting on the pebble beach, sandy one near by. The food was delicious and varied, staff friendly and helpful. Just got back today and we will be going back. Old town Altea is.beautiful. Highly recommend

Lindo hotel. Habitaciones cómodas, bien decorado, buenas instalaciones. Accedo directo a la playa y piscina de buenas dimensiones. Recreación y excursiones. Muy completo. Sobre la ruta pero un poco alejado del centro.
