IQL Tennis Academy Tennis & Padel, Alicante

My wife and I went to play social tennis after emailing them for details. On arrival meet with friendly greeting from the office, but after meeting Paul the social organiser we were told they had only allowed 1 place and this was a problem. Never been to social tennis where you could only have exactly teams of 4, always had sit outs if too many. Left and played down the road. Would not recommend unless you want to feel unwelcome.

Bonita escuela de pádel y tenis, con pistas de tierra batida y cemento, con un pequeño gimnasio donde puedes trabajar al aire libre o interior. Tiene su encanto.

Fernando and the team really know how to welcome overseas players. IQL arranged the courts and where needed players to make up doubles. The groundsman was co-operative and allowed us to play on the clay courts even though they were nearly washed away few days prior to our arrival. His efforts to get the courts up and running was most appreciated. The Padel courts looked like torture chambers, however, with some encouragement from Fernando we had a go and really enjoyed it given we are older tennis players. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming so much so we stayed far too long! The coaches and staff are friendly and welcoming cannot fault the IQL team and academy. Definitley will go back to IQL, sun and the beer.
