I recently bought a holiday home in Spain and I was put in touch with Erik from mortgage direct through my estate agent. Calling Mortgage Direct S. L.was the best start to make our dream come true. For years, we hesitated to get a loan in Spain as the process looked daunting. From the first time I spoke to Stuart Payne our mortgage process got started easily, efficiently and friendly. It took us 4 months for us to sign on our home, but Stuart was very patient and flexible during this time. He always explained all the financial process very well to us, which made us very confident during the process. He guide us from beginning to the end with confidence and care. We were so lucky to connect with with Mortgage Direct and Simon Staples through our agent in Jávea, and could not have been more delighted.

Coming from Romania to purchase a home in Spain with a Broker Agency from the UK. Seems a bit tricky, but it worked.

Our contact, Paul, was really responsive. He was helpful and the process was really smooth and fast, compared to other Spanish banks, which we also tried out (those were slow, painful).

We also got a good mortgage offer and we managed to purchase the property.
So if you are a bit skeptical like I was at the beginning I would say this is a good option.

My experience purchasing property in Spain was very complicated (mostly due to the untimely passing of the seller, complications with the inheritance, and the normal Spanish bureaucracy).
