Hemos pedidos con mi pareja 2 refrescos y nos han puesto una lata con cahuetes, sin pedirlos. Y al pagar! Ohhh sorpresa, me han cobrado la tapa. Un timo

Le personnel est accueillant et sympathique. J’aime également le cadre et le fait que la cuisine soit bien. En tant que végétarien je n’ai eu aucun souci pour faire mon choix. Je ne donne pas 5 étoiles cependant car il me semble qu’un effort pourrait être fait en ce qui concerne la saveur de certains mets. Cependant si je reviens dans la zone je ne manquerai pas de venir déjeuner ici.

Me parece un atraco lo que cobran por un producto escaso y de mala calidad. Pedimos una ensalada de mango y gambas picante: el mango era congelado y muy escaso, y la ensalada picaba excesivamente para no avisar sobre ello. Nos cobraron 2 de aceite no sabemos si es por aliñar la ensalada o por 2 vasitos de leche que pedimos para aliviar el picor.

I was very disappointed with the service, we sat down and had to wait ten minutes just to get the menu, to be fair on the waiter it did seem quite busy.

We ordered some water while having a look at the menu and waited another ten minutes to order and decided it was best to look else where.

I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time and maybe some day I'll give it a second chance as the food being served look lovely.

Lugar perfecto para desayunar tranquilamente, bonito en lo estético, buen trato, buen precio y mejor producto.

I have visited Quinoa several times and every time I go away with the same feeling: indifferent.

It promises more than it delivers. In the “healthy food” stakes, it has little competition. Only Plant Shack offers anything remotely similar.

The problem is the price: quality relationship. The “fresh” juices cost 5€, which is above average. But, my pineapple-cranberry-lemon juice was pretty tasteless and came served in a plastic bottle. It makes sense to pre-prepare juices as they are labor intensive. But to then juxtapose the plastic bottle with a bamboo straw is just.mediocre.

The sandwich was a spinach omelette with goat’s cheese and lettuce. The bread was tasteless and day-old. The frittata lacked any zing whatsoever. The goat’s cheese and lettuce was just.indifferent. And, 8€ for an egg sandwich, in Spain, is above average pricing for below average food.

I am sure that the people running Quinoa have a concept and wish to deliver style and quality. But I always leave the same.: indifferent. With a little more panache and care I think it could live to its own promise. But for now, I go along if taken, but would never choose it.

Takeaways only this last week.
Good coffee and pastries. Is also a store selling clothes, fancy goods etc. A great shop for tourist market. Staff excellent and efficient as well as bilingual!

Frente al mar en Altea. Ideal para un café o una cerveza. La artesanía y bisuteria un pelín cara.
