Restaurante La Sastrería, Alicante

Local acogedor con una cuidada decoración y con vistas a una plaza con árboles centenarios. Una variada carta con diferentes posibilidades y arroces. También tiene la opción de menú del día por 15€ muy correcto y con raciones contundentes. Todo ello con una atención muy personalizada.

I'm going to be honest. There is a lot that this restaurant can improve. I hope the owners take this message seriously because we didn't have a good experience at La Sastreria. This is because of the following points:

1. The menu is chaotic and not easy to understand.
2. The selection of dishes is not great.
3. The terrace is located near a road, so a lot of sound disturbamce.
4. The place mattes are weird and let the restaurant feel cheap.
5. My granddad got a fish knife with his steak.
6. Portions are small and do not have a lot of flavor. However they still are quite expensive.
7. The waiter was chaotic and we didn't understand eachother.
8. Dishes were out of stock.
9. Half of the dishes were served first and the second half was served 15 minutes later.
10. The fries were undercooked and therefore still raw.
11. Iberian ham was nice, however the bisquits that come with it are dry and tasteless and totally ruin the dish.

Overall we were surprised by the amount of setbacks. The good things were that the location is nice and the serloin steak tasted properly. However, overall a very poor experience. I hope the owners can use this review to try and make things better. So I hope you do not delete this review as you did with the other negative ones. Let's be honest to eachother.

Que decir, un grandísimo restaurante en pleno centro de la ciudad de Alicante. Llevan ya unos años dando de comer de manera exquisita.
Muy recomendable para todos, visitantes y locales por la zona.
Productos de primera con una presentación impecable en un marco, pequeñito, pero muy agradable.
