Stan & Ollies Restaurant, Alicante

We had not been for a long time due to location, awkward taxis to return home / having to drive there.
However, we visited, and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of service, and food.
Shame they don't re-situate in Quesada.

Si le personnel était habillé genre Stan et Ollie's ce serait 1 top clin d'œil au thème genre costume et cravate ce serait super! Pourquoi ne pas mettre 1 tv à l'intérieur qui passerait en boucle les films de Stan et Ollie's? Pour le reste chouette déco personnel attentif et sympa. Attention peut-être à la sauce qui était comme de l'eau. Genre moules ail et crème. Mais tout est toujours perfectible

Enjoyable evening meal with family. The service and the food were good as usual but we chose to sit outside and the ambience was marred by the bar next doors rowdy crowd who were watching a football match. Will make sure we sit inside next time!

To expensive order baby lamb very chewy and not much on the plate for what it cost disappointing to say the least and you had to pay cash which was annoying

We really enjoy going to this restaurant whether this is for a mid week meal, Sunday roast or a special occasion.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, there’s many options on the menu to cater for everyone & the food is decent portions. The food is all cooked fresh and presented well. Some of our favourite meals include the Rack of ribs and roast dinner.
The venue itself is lovely and themed well for its name. It’s nice and cool with air con too which is always something we look for when eating out especially during hotter months.
They will be opening their cocktail bar Easter 2031 which I cannot wait to try!

We always enjoy going to Stan and ollies the midweek menu is always good and the Sunday lunch is excellent and the staff are very helpful and polite

Lovely setting very pleasant staff, menu great, starter and sweet course excellent but we all found the main course lacking in flavour, I had the slow cooked lamb which I'm afraid was very dry and tough

The food was bland. Under cooked no taste and the beef had been reheated. Roast potatoes fried in deep fryer.

The meal was beautiful, I had pork, my wife picked the beef.
Would be five stars, but the delivery was 45 mins late, and we
live in El Raso.

Fabulous meal delivered at 3-45 pm today, roast dinners piping hot plus bottle of wine. Will definitely be ordering again.

Highly recommended, especially on a Sunday. English-style Sunday lunches are great. Very friendly staff too always willing to help you with any enquiries.

Fantastic evening, prompt and pleasant service and food was brilliant. Young gentleman working assisted us with access for a wheelchair user which was great and very pleased with the vegetarian menu options. Will visit again!

My meal was spoilt, I struggle d to cut the duck and was offered a steak knife, it was over cooked and very tough, Spoilt my night out.

Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Wine great. Staff were funny, friendly, helpful and appropriately attentive. We will go back again.

I visited here with my family recently for the second time. The menu del dia feels like it's expensive at first, but when you get the food you realise it's worth every penny. Very well cooked and prepared, and not silly pretentious portion sizes.

The kids meal was pretty good too, the selection wasn't just quick and easy nuggets and chips etc, they can have ribs or half a steak if they want it too. Of course my son had a burger, but there you go!

The atmosphere was a little noisy, but that could just be the other customers that happened to be there at the time. Definitely recommended for "date night" or a night out with the family.

I have been to this restaurant many times & have always had a very good meal.last week I had a lovely starter& lovely pudding.however my main course was not so good. I had chicken which was raw & the vegetables were so hard I couldn't even cut a carrot.it won't stop me going again maybe they were having an off day in the kitchen.

The times of opening very confusing we arrive for 1pm when they were supposed to be open and told they do not open until 2pm so went else where

Veg was over cooked roast pots were cold.service was appauling lots of staff but floating never got offered any sauces had to ask for our wine.it was empty when we arrived at 1.00 so really don't understand.

A stylish, themed restaurant, around the great comedic team of Laurel and Hardy.

The staff here are professional, courteous and friendly and they met our needs perfectly; all were from the UK on the night we visited.

The restaurant itself is stylish, spacious and well laid out; we liked the crystal glasses and quality napkins and cutlery - all of which reinforced the contemporary approach of the restaurant.

The food was very well presented on lovely plates however the quality was lacking and of you have read any of my reviews you'll know I like my food, so here goes;
overall the flavouring here are a little bland for my taste: fake cream was used in the tiramisu, I couldn't taste the alcohol or coffee or cocoa - each element was underplayed leaving the fake cream to take centre stage, and the use of fake cream in a tiramisu, well it's nothing short of a hangable offence, also the quality of ice cream was quite average - think lyons maid blocks of vanilla ice cream and your on the right track; the cheese and ham croquettes were heavy on potato and light on cheese and ham, my mouth was expecting a melting cheese and potato 'hamfest' but basically all we got was potato - it was pleasant, but an opportunity missed; the pork belly was on the tough side, and missed that 'melt-in-the-mouth' sensation of a well cooked pork belly with crispy crunchy crackling. On the plus side, the salads were nicely prepared and 'Stan and Ollies' take on the Spanish dressing/ sauce 'Alioli' was nice.

Prices are very reasonable, aim to tip the lovely staff 10% or more.

I like the place and will be back; for me though, I'd probably only order things like burgers and chips - but that's me!
