Taronja Escuela De Español, València

Muy contenta con el curso. Dos clases en la semana es mucho y el precio esta muy generoso! No soy alguien que trabaja mucho mientras de clases (seguramente lo ves en este mensaje) pero incluso eso, avanzo poco a poco y lo que es para mi lo mas importante - me siento mas comoda para hablar. Los profesores son muy investidos y estoy segura que si trabajarìa màs entre las clases, tendría los resultados todavìa màs spectaculares. El ambiente me gusta mucho, es siempre muy interesante de encontrar los otras alumnos - del todo del mundo, de profesiones diferentes. Todo eso me da mucho inspiración en general.

¡Completa decepción! Me engañaron las increíbles reseñas en Google, claramente dejadas por personas que usaron su academia para otra cosa.

Nunca esperé estar en una situación así. Los perseguí literalmente durante 6 meses desde septiembre de 2023, intentando que me inscribieran en un curso de español en línea que ofrecen. Finalmente, en octubre, confirmaron que podían hacerlo. Desafortunadamente, se suponía que su nuevo grupo comenzaría el 15 de enero de 2024. Debido a las excelentes críticas, decidí que valió la pena la espera.

Después de que terminó el año 2023, me sorprendió no haber recibido ninguna confirmación para el próximo curso, a pesar de que había pagado a principios de diciembre y había mantenido correspondencia con ellos, recibiendo dos confirmaciones por escrito para el próximo curso.

Luego, en las semanas del 1 al 15 de enero, recibí dos confirmaciones escritas más de que el grupo debía comenzar según lo planeado y que recibiría toda la información en unos días.

Como puedes ver en mi reseña del 15 de enero, recibí una llamada informándome que no habría grupo y que me devolverían mi dinero.

¿Cómo se puede confirmar un rumbo cuatro veces y de repente "explicar" que eso nunca fue una certeza y que cometieron un error?

Acabo de pasar 11 semanas en Taronja y disfruté cada minuto. Las clases fueron divertidas y atractivas y mi español mejoró mucho. Tienes 2 maestros diferentes cada semana para que puedas experimentar diferentes estilos de enseñanza, también tienen actividades 6 días a la semana para que tengas la oportunidad de socializar fuera del horario escolar y conocer a los otros estudiantes y maestros. Me encantó tanto que regresaré por otros 5 meses en febrero. No podría haber pedido una mejor experiencia y recomendaría esta escuela a cualquiera que esté buscando aprender español y también conocer mucha gente nueva.

Asistí a un curso intensivo de dos semanas + curso de conversación en grupo + 1 lección privada/día. Progresé mucho en las dos semanas. Cuando me asignaron un curso el primer día en el que me sentía poco desafiado, después de una breve conversación con uno de los directores, pude cambiar fácilmente a otro curso que encajaba bien después de solo 2 horas.
La escuela está dirigida principalmente a estudiantes jóvenes. No pertenezco a este grupo pero aun así me sentí muy cómodo en la escuela. Los jóvenes profesores, que parecen muy motivados, saben incluir a todos los estudiantes en sus clases. El clima en el aula y en la escuela es agradable. Las lecciones suelen ser muy comunicativas y los métodos de enseñanza son modernos y variados. Lo que también me gustó mucho es que el idioma de instrucción fue casi exclusivamente español, casi nunca se usó inglés. Mis grupos estaban formados por 5 o 7 personas, lo cual fue perfecto.
Prácticamente todas las noches se ofrecen actividades, incluida una cata de vinos para los clientes mayores.
También estuve satisfecho con el alojamiento (apartamento compartido) a poca distancia, aunque inicialmente quería una habitación con baño privado.
Conclusión: ¡Escuela muy recomendable! ¡Muchas gracias queridos profesores!

Maravilloso, vine aquí y no podía hablar, después de un mes puedo tener una conversación básica que es muy satisfactoria. También conocí a mucha gente maravillosa. De hecho, me registré durante 2 semanas pero terminé agregando 2 semanas más. ¡La mejor decisión jamás tomada!

Regresé a Taronja por tercera vez para prepararme y hacer un examen. Esta vez me di cuenta de que gran parte del atractivo de la escuela es el ambiente y la diversión. Si realmente quieres aprender español, esta no es necesariamente la mejor escuela. Esta vez fui durante dos semanas para prepararme para un examen y tomé el paquete completo de lecciones, clases de conversión y lecciones privadas. Si bien no tengo más que admiración por los profesores de las clases privadas, el resto fueron 90% clases de conversación extendida. Hay una ilusión de estructura pero no se respeta. Dejo mis comentarios anteriores para respetar la integridad y coherencia de lo que escribo ahora.

Realmente disfruté mi estancia en Taronja. Para mí todo se juntó para una experiencia fantástica. Los profesores y los métodos de enseñanza son geniales, la escuela tiene un gran ambiente donde uno rápidamente se siente cómodo y parte de lo que está sucediendo. La mezcla de diferentes edades también es fantástica, es genial tener tanto contacto intergeneracional. Finalmente, Valencia es una ciudad fantástica; un buen tamaño, pasan muchas cosas y casi diría que tiene espíritu.

Puedo recomendar Taronja a todo el mundo. Es mucho más que una simple escuela de idiomas y ofrece muchas actividades que hacen del aprendizaje una verdadera aventura en la que conoces a mucha gente nueva. Los profesores son muy amables y aprendes mucho, pero nunca te sientes presionado. Las edades de los estudiantes oscilan entre los 16 y los 60 años, siendo la mayoría entre 20 y 30 años. Si surgen problemas, recibirá ayuda rápidamente: hay todo un ejército de ayuda.

Classes were great and also a lot of fun - especially with Yara

As I got put in the wrong class I did not have as many learning possibilities as I wanted. Furthermore, classes were very focussed on talking, not so much on grammar. The solution was to give me online private classes, but this was not planned as well as it could have been. If you’re looking for a (very) social time in Valencia while you can learn a bit of Spanish, this might be a good school for you.

De docenten geven op een leuke manier les, de school organiseert diverse activiteiten en is op een goede locatie.

I highly recommend Taronja! The school has been around for many years but recently got a brand new facility with brightly colored walls and excellent smart board technology. I had several different teachers, all of whom were excellent, and I found the curriculum very well organized. I especially liked the way the school’s advisors worked with me before and when I arrived to find the perfect placement for me. The majority of the students are young, but as a 50+ student, I’m happy to report I found classmates my age, too, and met some really interesting people of all ages and nationalities. In addition to classes, I took a couple of private lessons that really helped me. A huge plus for Taronja are its activities; every night you can participate in something - totally optional - from walks around the city, to cooking classes, to painting classes … And on the weekend they offer amazing excursions! All great ways to practice your Spanish and experience Spanish culture. If I went back to Valencia, which I hope to do, I wouldn’t consider any other school. Thank you Taronja!

Ho passato settembre e ottobre studiando Spagnolo in Taronja, cercavo una scuola con personale socievole, corsi dinamici e nella quale creare nuove amicizie e posso dire di essere totalmente soddisfatto.
L’organizzazione delle attività pomeridiane / serali è impeccabile e non ci si può annoiare, questo facilità anche la conoscenza con altri studenti e lo scambio linguistico, per me fulcro dell’esperienza.
Nonostante gli e le insegnanti ogni tanto appaiano molto stanchi, le loro lezioni sono sempre motivanti e interattive.
Taronja e le sue persone mi mancano ogni giorno, tornerei domani!
Ps: e dove la trovate un’altra scuola che includa lezioni di cucina spagnola?

Superb course and lovely teachers, willing to give you their time and attention to solving complicated questions and issues within the Castellano Spanish language. Really benefited from this course. It has a more speaking approach instead of an examination. They want you to be fluent not pass a test.

After being with Taronja for a couple of years now online I decided to take the plunge and do their immersion course in Valencia, which, for a 54 year old, filled me with apprehension! I have to say it’s one of the best things I’ve done to progress and improve my Spanish, the schools new location was ideal situated at the edge of the old town near the Turia park. The facilities in the building and classrooms were excellent with information screens, whiteboards and air conditioning also there is great chill out space on the ground floor to relax in!

The standard of teaching was excellent with varied topics and wide ranging conversations and discussions with time taken to explain things if you weren’t quite sure or needed clarification on vocabulary or grammar. I had 4 teachers in total, including the conversational workshops, and I can’t praise them enough, they were all absolutely fantastic.

I must also give special mentions to the reception and activities teams who were friendly, professional, helpful and a joy to deal with on a daily basis with nothing being too much trouble.

All in all a fantastic experience one which I hope to repeat in the future. Well done Taronja ️

I spent 3 months at the Taronja School and had the best time ever! I started from scratch but the school and its methods taught me Spanish very well. You can make a lot of friends through the activities and experience a lot of culture for a small price. I'd recommend going there for your Spanish studies as well as for the fun.

A friendly school with great teachers and nice facilities. I was only there for a week but my confidence in speaking improved significantly. I came on my own but it was so easy to make friends through all the social activities and I loved meeting people from all over the world from ages 19-70. I had an amazing time and hope I can go back for longer next summer!

La scuola migliore che potessi scegliere a Valencia ed in tutta la Spagna! Professori e personale scolastico sempre disponibile e presenti alle numerose attività organizzate, il che ha reso l'esperienza ancora più indimenticabile. Super consigliato!

The weirdest language school which I have ever come across. I've contacted them to ask an information what levels of Taronja school Spanish language courses (named like intermediate/advanced, lower intermediate, intermediate, advanced, etc.) correspond to the officially recognised B2.2 level. They told me that they cannot tell this, but teachers will decide on my level and have sent me loads of unnecessary advertisement. Then I repeated my question, that I need to know specifically this question and that I do not ask about MY level, I ask which one of their levels correspond to the officially recognised B2.2 level.
Following six more email exchanges, they still repeated me the same useless information and did not provide a reply to the question which I asked. What a waste of time and disrespect of people.
I doubt if this school corresponds to Cervantes method and that they would be able to issue a certificate indicating the officially recognised language levels. It did not sound trustful at all, in additional to much higher prices of their courses than in the other language schools in Valencia.

I would highly recommend this language school, with its competent teachers who are innovative and interested in their students. The material used is always of an excellent standard. The school has two bright buildings and there is a calendar of events each week both for students attending and those taking classes online.
