The Stray Sod Irish Bar, Alicante

The first customer was perfect, gentle.
The beer is good, but when you ask for wine, it's corked, the customers tells us that is a New bottle, and don't understand that's the wine can be corked even whit a new bottle. The young customer suggested me to take another drink, instead of changing the bottle.
Customer are too young to understand, too young to taste wine maybe.
We were not happy about that. But it seem's not undursatble

Ein Pub, wie man es erwartet: gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal und ansprechendes Ambiente.

Auch sind die Preise fair.

15min to order a drink, 15min more to get it. Then €4 a pint. Better service and cheaper bars in the same neighbouring complex

Going here for years fish is usually divine but last week it was a disgrace grey instead of white must have changed suppliers never again

Bar Irlandés con muy buen ambiente. Este sábado hay música en directo con un vocalista-guitarra que canta y versiona muy bien temas clásicos del rock-pop. Está muy bien.

Fuimos a ver un concierto en acústico que fue increíble! Un sitio muy acogedor, con buena atención y buen precio. Muy recomendable!

I love this large authentic Irish Bar. The food is good and they seem to have just about every available sport on a screen (of which there are many!) somewhere in the bar. We wanted to watch a specific rugby game and they kindly put it on a screen specifically for us! How's that for service? !

It's a good place to take a beer. No hablan español pero eso quizá hace el lugar más interesante. Guiness, Murphy, john smiths, bulmers.

Good food, regular prices great place to chill in the sun but plenty shaded areas, this is a good place to visit as it is big enough to social distance

Great pub for entertainment and sports, food is first class, can't wait to go back, hopefully it will be soon

Nice location, but bloody expensive! Paid 7.60 for two pints. It's double the price of other local bars

To expensive. When you compare it to paddys point, which offers live music and great food everyday.

Typical Irish sports bar at La Fuente. Good beer decent food and a good atmosphere. Lots of TV's showing a whole range of sports. Very busy on Saturday's when pretty much every UK Premier league match is shown.

Service was poor but that may have been down to live European footy. Food was good, with a reasonable selection of beers, price average for this kind of Irish pub eatery.

Fine spot for drinks, food and music. Lively and entertaining. Show all major sports events on multiple TVs. Staff very attentive and efficient. I will be back.

Arrived at the Stray Sod Irish Bar last night on the recommendation of family living near by. There was already a good crowd there for the all Ireland replay but there was plenty of room on the large terrace and plenty of TV's to watch the match. Considering it was so busy it wasn't long before we had a waiter taking our food and drinks order. Two of us had burger and chips, one had fish and chips and one had teriyaki noodles with chicken and stir fried veg. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. As the night continued on the entertainment provided was absolutely first class. Over all this has been the best night of our holiday so far. This morning we found ourselves back in the area to do some shopping and found ourselves back at the Stray Sod having a late breakfast. Again the service and the food could not be faulted and again great value for money. No doubt we will be there again before our holiday ends. Five
