29Excellent food, super kind people and they gave us a whole area where the kids could spread out and play! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!
Typically I don't review a place until I've visited more than once. Having visited El Doble on a number of separate occasions I can confidently admit that there are rarely any restaurants in Barcelona that provide fantastic food and unbelievable service in the same package. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, the food is thoughtful, delicate and memorable. Do yourself a favour and drop in. It's absolutely worth your while.
Experiencia muy buena en El Doble. Pedimos dos clásicos: Gyozas y Pad Thai, y nos quedamos muy satisfechos con ambos platos. Especialmente bueno el Pad Thai. La atención (y la música) gran punto a favor. Como idea, podrían darle una vuelta a la decoración de la cocina.

Super delicious lunch at El Doble and treated ourselves to dessert too! Highly recommend for a cozy lunch or dinner for inventive Asian-inspired tapas!
Both excellent food and service! Every dish was beautifully executed both in terms of appearance and taste. Additionally, the staff was really nice, and they gave us a very cozy and unique experience. We almost felt like we were in somebody’s house. Will definitely be back!
This place has some of the best flavors in Barcelona. If you are looking for a nice change from the usual preserved meat and cheese, try here. We are our way around the menu, from the excellent and savory mushroom croquettes to the Cambodian salad and the spring rolls, finishing with a lovely elevated pana cotta. Ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared, flavors are excellent throughout.
Service was friendly and very good, and we’re coming back for the cocktails and more food.

Absolutely amazing place, such a lovely gem! Started with the nicest staff and continued with (so far) the best sangrias we’ve had in Barcelona. Food is absolutely delicious and staff very happy to help you choose - we ended up splitting a few dishes among 3 people to try out as much as possible, can especially recommend gyozas!
