Buscar otra compañia porque os vendrán sorpresas sin explicaciones varios meses después de devolver el vehículo y NUNCA os darán papeles o alguna información

This is the worst experience I've ever had and I urge anyone reading this to pay a little more for a better service elsewhere. I picked up the car which was all dented, scratched and in a terrible condition and after 2 hours of driving I get the oil change and add blue lights (I am Canadian so I had no clue what blue was) so the next day I had to waste a whole morning to go to the nearest europcar get all that work done, then the next day the trunk refused to open so I had to waste another day and drive all the way to Girona as they were the only ones in the region to havce a 7 seat car. Just when I thought I was done forever with this company, 3 months later I get a charge on my credit card for 2000$ without any notifications and when I called they said that it was because of an invoicing procedure since I booked the car and paid initially on auto-europe, they had to charge me again from EuropCar now and then refund me! I never leave negative reviews but if I wish I could rate this company below zero!

Usamos europcar a nivel de empresa y el servicio es bueno. A nivel particular disponemos de código de descuento en alquileres por lo que es una gran ventaja. Los empleados son muy amables y eficientes.

A las 8: 45 llegamos, con reserva para las 8: 30. Me preguntan si en vez de un twingo quiero un smart, de categoría inferior, muy pequeño además. Me niego. Me dicen que tienen que preparar el coche todavía, 10 minutos. Desayunamos y Vamos al párking. Son las 9: 25 y todavía no tengo el coche, me dicen que 10 minutos más. Una hora de retraso justificada simplemente con “Vayan a tomarse un café”. ¿Es esto normal pagando 150€ por dos días? Si tengo una reserva para un vehículo y no disposen de éste, hay que dar uno de categoría superior. Es fácil. Si hay una reserva a las 8: 30 para un twingo, hay que tener listo un two ho a esa hora. ¿Que no tengo twingo? Pues preparo un corsa, un panda o lo que sea para las 8: 30. No me parece una locura ni de ingenio ni de logística. Muy fácil. Nunca más con Europcar.

I planned a road trip in Spain and finally choose you as the provider of my car to enjoy. This was my worst mistake I ever done in my life. The plan was to drive from Barcelona – Valencia – Granada – Cordoba – and finally Malaga.
I choosed a pretty expensive Audi S A4 and began my trip from Barcelona and drove to Valencia. The day after we planned to drive early to Granada but instead I received a warning sign on the dashboard. I called the customer service. They told me that I could drive to nearest station to receive help and when I arrived they couldn’t help me. I called another office near the train station of Valencia and they told me to visit them and that it was easy to fix. When I arrived at the office near the train station their where two employees sitting there. I started with telling them that I already spoke with them on the phone and if they could show me the man who could fix the car so that I could continue my road trip. They were ignorant and had the worst service and very disrespectful. Instead of referring me to the mechanical guy directly the employers told me to stand in line. I had to argue and let them know that it’s a very bad costumer service if you at beginning provide someone a broken car and then let your costumer wait unnecessary time when you have an easy solution. I literally had to stand there for one whole hour.
I had to search after the mechanical guy myself and tell him about the error on the dashboard of the car a few blocks away.
I had to drive throw a gate and this ticket is valid and free for 15 minutes. He told me it was easy to fix and took couple of minutes. After receiving help the mechanical guy told me to go back to the office to get a new ticket.
The same thing again they told me that they didn’t have any tickets when I saw them handing out tickets to other costumers. I had to wait another 30 minutes to get a small piece of paper. This was really awful and felt a very strange hate towards me. Is this really racism? How can you be so rude to costumers that provide you the salary you have. Tourists provide the whole country with money how would it be if suddenly tourists didn’t visit Spain anymore? It’s really disrespectful. Instead of enjoying the roads and cities of Spain i had to visit offices and call “costumer service” of Europcar.
When I called the customer service to inform them about the bad procedure and that I had lost time and money the only thing they could say was that they couldn’t do anything and that I had to call another number. When I called the new number they then referred me to another number. They couldn’t compensate, they couldn’t change the booking and they couldn’t provide me with valuable information.
I started to get really stressed because we missed our appointments in Granada. The only thing Europcar can do is to take charge and then leaving the costumer without help.
I had to change the end destination but they couldn’t do this on the phone and they told me that I had to drive all the way to Malaga to do that and of course they had to take extra charge for this although it was their fault.
I payed 100 euro in deposit and still haven’t received anything back.
I have traveled a lot all around the world and have a lot of experience when it comes to renting cars, bikes, boats and had never before received this kind of treatment.
I been sending this company 3 mails and still haven’t received any response. I now have contacted couple of newspaper publishers in my country. I now found out that this company had been treating costumers bad before by reading articles that been published on the web before. I wish I had read them before i visited your office at the first time.
This company has lots of things to work on when it comes to customer service.

Really bad service! We were there yesterday and wanted to rent a car for today. We got one price, they wrote it down for us and signed the paper. Today when we were there to pick up the car, they said that the price was higher. It was more than double of what they promised us yesterday. Their treatment were very unpleasant!
