Pasamos una tarde estupenda en el curso de elaboración de paella. Simon, nuestro chef, fue muy amable, sencillo y con un gran conocimiento de todo lo relacionado con la gastronomía. Fue encantador visitar el mercado primero y la clase de tapas y sangría antes de la paella fue una gran idea. Simon explicó cómo hacer una gran sangría y hubo mucho para beber durante la tarde. Fue un profesor muy paciente y el curso fue práctico en cuanto a la preparación de mariscos. La paella resultante estaba deliciosa. Después de haber probado varias clases de cocina en otras ciudades, esta estaba a la altura de las mejores, además de tener una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Definitivamente una calificación de 5 estrellas de nuestra parte.

¡Me encantó nuestra experiencia! Simón es el mejor. Definitivamente recomiendo la clase de paella a cualquiera que visite Barcelona.

Absolutely fantastic, hands on, experience! I went to the GABLAB paella class with a group of friends and family and had a wonderful time. The chef took us step-by-step through the paella making experience. The result was delicious and was accompanied by a pitcher of sangria that never seemed to empty. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great night in Barcelona!

Our group had a wonderful experience. We all highly recommend Chef Gabriel’s cooking school. Chef Gabriel provides knowledge and guidance so you can repeat the recipe when you get home!

We had a great time, learned a lot and in the end we ate a really delicious paella There were tapas and sangria at the beginning, and more sangria during the event! Good explanations and all participated with the cooking.

We had an amazing experience! Chef Gabriel was so friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable about cooking. The paella we made with him turned out to be delicious, and the visit to the market for fresh ingredients was a unique touch. Would definitely recommend attending one of his cooking classes to others and come back myself.

Chef was amazing. I loved being able to get my hands dirty and learn authentic paella. I learned how to clean squid and I will bring that new skill home to my kids. The sangria was perfect and the seafood paella was so delicious. There was plenty of time to get to know the other people there in between cooking. It was a great experience.

Highly recommended! Paella is not a trivial dish to prepare. Chef Gabriel and his associates made everyone feel welcome, encouraged everyone to actively participate in cooking, demonstrated the basics and nuances of preparing seafood and vegetarian versions of the dish, fed us delightfully, and sent us on our way with recipes and a fresh appreciation for the culinary arts. We would cheerfully take this class again.

Had a lovely time with Chef Gabriel at GAB. The paella we made was delicious and the instructions made it feel like I actually could make it again at home. **If you’re thinking about booking a class, make sure to book directly because booking through any of the travel services reduces significantly the amount Gabriel gets paid. **

Our group of 6 had a fantastic time! Gabriel was a great teacher and took the time to explain all of the ingredients, techniques, and history of paella. The trip to La Boqueria for fresh seafood and the sangria and tapas were also amazing. Would highly recommend!
