Por el precio buen hostal, lo único es tener un control remoto de aire acondicionado en cada habitación a medida que vienen y lo encienden para ti

Huele a muerto, disco toda la noche tan imposible dormir, lockers sin candados, al menos a mi me rechazaron tener uno. El baño está sucio y huele mal, también la presión del agua es baja. En general: un poco peor que los refugios para personas sin hogar

El personal fue muy amable y servicial. Las habitaciones Habitaciones de albergue, pero agradablemente tranquilas con camas cómodas y limpias. Los salones también eran agradables y la terraza de la azotea era lo más destacado.

El personal es bueno y alegre.
En cuanto a las habitaciones, no están limpias.
El baño de hombres no está limpio y las puertas no tienen cerraduras.
La ubicación del hostel es muy buena

Absolutamente razonable por el precio. Tienes todo lo que necesitas y las instalaciones sanitarias se limpian varias veces al día. La gente de la recepción siempre es amable y servicial. La ubicación es absolutamente perfecta.

Estuve 4 días en compañía de un grupo de mis amigos (5 personas en total).
En los dormitorios estarás en compañía de extraños, probablemente turistas como tú.
Nuestra convivencia aquí no ha sido mala.
Parecerá terrible al principio, pero después de un tiempo te acostumbrarás y tal vez incluso lo extrañe.
Las neveras son un poco desordenadas, mi consejo es que les hagas sitio y rotules todas tus cosas. Otro consejo es cerrar las maletas con candado cuando camines fuera del albergue.
La cocina es cómoda y hay espacio para comer, si quieres también hay una bonita terraza con mesas y muchas sillas.
Todos los alrededores están limpios, las habitaciones se limpian cada mañana y los baños también están limpios.
El personal es muy amable y atento.
Recuerdo que la terraza cierra a las 11 y la cocina a las 11: 30.
El sitio es muy bueno.

El servicio fue amable y rápido. Las habitaciones estaban bien, solo menos una estrella por algunas camas que tenían casilleros demasiado pequeños para que cupiera una mochila grande y por no tener cortinas de privacidad en las camas. El área era agradable y lo suficientemente cerca de la estación de tren y del puerto para poder caminar.

El peor albergue de todos.
Nunca me encontré en una situación tan similar aunque me alojo en tantos albergues en toda Europa.
Mal servicio de recepción. 9 damas en la habitación riéndose y charlando a la 1: 20 am de la noche (me registré a esta hora) todas las luces principales se encendieron en la habitación. Era como el día para ellos.
Pedí una habitación diferente, pero el chico de la recepción me dijo que no tenían más habitaciones para mujeres. Realmente no trató de ayudar.
¡Tuve que salir a la 1: 40 am y caminar 35 minutos para llegar a otro lugar donde dormir! Quiero un REEMBOLSO COMPLETO.
Ya envié un correo electrónico hace 2 días y aún no he recibido respuesta.
Tan MAL servicio al cliente.

Habitaciones y baños medianamente limpios, baño muy estrecho, nada cómodo.
Personal amable pero poco resolutivo (parece que no supieran mucho del servicio que ofrecen).
Dos experiencias desagradables a mencionar:
Salí durante el día y cuando llegué en la noche me encontré basura (literalmente) sobre mi cama, parece que la hubieran usado en mi ausencia.
Dejé olvidado por error una prenda de vestir y cuando llamé a la hora de haber hecho el checkout ya me dijeron que no estaba, que enviara un mail, lo cual hice pero según las personas que me atendieron nunca llegó (la dirección de email fue la que ellos me facilitaron porque en la web ni en ninguna red social hay otro método de comunicación que el teléfono, el cual por cierto, no responden sino hasta el intento 10 o más).
Es una pena que un lugar con tanto potencial esté tan mal administrado.

The place is not as it is shown in the pictures, it’s completely filthy and run down. The single room (which is the only one they have) had a floor with gaps full of grime. The shower is uncomfortably located since when you open the tap the whole toilet floods. It is no surprise the tiles and the floor are rusty and mouldy which is dangerous if you step on it because you can get cut. The toilet paper I got was already started (half used). The trash bags were emptied and reused (you could see how filthy they were). Under the beds there was dust and the drawers were dirty. The noise at night and in the morning was unbearable which made it impossible to sleep, plus the doorbell rang super late at night. I had to leave and find somewhere else to stay unfortunately. I asked the receptionist if it was possible to get a compensation or refund but she said I had to contact booking customer service. Im really disappointed on this place and how they lie to people. Please do not stay here, if you are doubting please DON'T STAY.

Worst hostel ever.

Filthy rooms. A fight at 6am between two people.

We were obliged to leave two days earlier because of hygiene and lack of professionalism.

Worst experience ever.

El más ruidoso sucio y mal hostel que fui en mi vida, después de 3 años viajando y habiendo visitado más de 30 hostel puedo decir sin lugar a dudas que este fue el peor. Sucio, un martes todos a los gritos en las puertas de las habitaciones hasta las 2 de la mañana, nadie controla nada, después a las 5 volvieron varios borrachos y siguieron a los gritos como si nada, no hay reglas básicas de convivencia

Initially we were 4 people in a mixed dormitory. The dormitory was very small and everyone had their belongings thrown down, you could not even pass. No one was wearing a mask anywhere in the accommodation. There were three more beds available while we had a prepaid reservation for 4 people and the manager of the accommodation was trying at the last minute to find us and clean a bed. The bathroom was extremely dirty and there was no paper in the toilets! Totally disgusting. For sure, they don't know the word hygiene. Finally, we didn't even stay there, luckily we found another hotel and spent the night there. I do not recommend it.

The only good thing was the location.

Muy buena atención amabilidad del personal, vi esmero en mantener limpio (a pesar de algunos huéspedes) cocina amplia y espació de terraza muy bien

PEOR sitio que he visto, MUGROSO, extremadamente sucio, cucarachas, polvo de años, mala olor, hongos, tan poco luz en la habitación con todas luces encendidas que no te ves ni para lavar te la cara en esa esquina, no lo recomiendo a nadie, no limpian habitación, no cambian toallas en 6 días, paredes de pladur huecas que parece que estas separado por una cortina, se escucha timbre las 24h, y como no Dan llave de entrada están tocando todo el rato, no tienen ni cortinas en la habitación, para cambiarte tienes que bajar la persiana, y por encima nada barato, de lo más carito que todo por la zona, no le daría ni 1 estrella, una verdadera vergüenza, donde estan las autoridades, inspecciónes de sanidad ese lugar

Positives:
- Each member of the staff was great - professional and kind, from the cleaner to the receptionists!

- We had booked the only private bedroom they have which has a private toilet as well.

- Location is perfect, right around the corner there is the only street in Barcelona serving pintxos (a Basque traditional finger food), you're 3 mins walk from a central metro line and plenty of buses to go around. If you like walking, in 25 mins you're on the beach, in 15 mins you're in The Gotico, in another 20 you're in placa de Espanya. There is also a beautiful Palazo de la Magia just nearby!

- Kitchen was cleaned every morning, also both kitchen and terrace have a curfew which we appreciated as the double room is right between the kitchen and stairs to the second floor. I would say there wasn't too much noise at night, also bedroom has double glazing so noise is reduced (unless the trash truck comes around at 3am and sounds like a spaceship).

Things to improve:

- the hostel building is definitely run down and needs work. Internet router fried within our first days so we had to ask to get access to our bedroom to the staff and using a shoe to hold the door open if we were in the terrace/kitchen

- In 1 week stay I'd say it would have been nice to get our room clean at least once or some fresh towels. The dorms and communal toilets were cleaned every day we felt a bit left over.

- Cleanliness on arrival seemed superficial as there was dust inside drawers and on skirtings.

- Something that weirded me out was to have given a duvet without any cover. Truly unhygienic - but hey, we didn't really need to use them so fine.

- Pipes smell, we had to ask for a room fragrance to bare with it since the sink is inside the bedroom.

- The entire bathroom needs rework as there are signs of black mould in the shower plate and it looks like it's all falling apart.

- One fridge for 3 floors hostel it's too small. We struggled to find space in the fridge without squeezing thru. Generally the kitchen is also a bit run down and needs all the cupboards redone.

- Terrace is only partially open and has only a LED strip to light up at night which is a missed occasion to create a cozy space

The staff is the highlight of this place, and most travellers were quiet and not your classic rowdy party heads.

If the owner could spend a bit of money to refresh it I'm sure there would be much better reviews!

I booked this hostel without reading the reviews so of course I arrived feeling a little bit anxious. To be honest? I think that most reviews are unfair.
It’s your regular low budget hostel: beds are not the most comfortable but you can definitely fall asleep, common areas such as bathroom and kitchen are cleaned everyday by the staff but OF COURSE the level of cleanliness depends on how the people staying there behave; for example, it’s not the cleaning staff’s fault if the girls sharing the bathroom leave their hair everywhere, right?
Overall I found it a pleasant experience: staff was super duper nice, location is P E R F E C T (you’re close to pretty much almost any single landmark + it’s basically the tapas neighbourhood), building is nice, cleanliness is fine.

Ps. Don’t trust all the 1 star reviews, I believe most of the people expected something more glamorous or whatever - you get what you pay for

I wouldn’t even give it a one! Very dodgy place! So many people had stuff stolen from the hotel, the lockers look like people have tried to open them even with locks on them, the pictures are so Deceiving. The place is not clean, the bedding was dirty, when I lifted up my mattress it was sooooo dirty in the grooves of the bed, I’m pretty sure there’s bed bugs as I got bit and so did other people. They also kicked us out a day earlier for ‘being loud’ when we were just sat talking in our room. I think they were actually overbooked and used that as an excuse to get us out as our room was full of people that same evening and we didn’t leave until around lunch time.

At the reception out of 3 shifts only one knew what to do. They guys let everyone in the hostel without control, didn't give us receipt (but later asked for it) and so on. The girls were helpful, and at least they could speak English!
My room (and the bathroom) was clean but it was way too small for this much people.
Location is good, but there is a pub at the same house, so prepare, that it will be noisy:)

Muy mala experiencia, desordenado, me quedé 2 noches y siempre que llegaba ya habían ocupado mi cama, el hotel no responde, no habian tarjetas para abrir la habitación, y no habia papel en el baño
