Hotel Catalonia Ramblas, Barcelona

When i was supposed to check in they told my room was unavailable and I had to change hotel.when you pay 200 euro this is an unacceptable way of treating the customer.very bad experience.

This is a 5* hotel and they stand by it. Majority of staff very helpful and the majority smile and say morning etc. Breakfast is wow. Location excellent. If you want a great experience, stay here. I will be returning with fiance.

Relocated here from another hotel in same group which had a power/water outage making booked rooms unavailable. Minor defects in large comfortable room, had trouble getting iron and board (had to ask 3 times, would only be delivered when in room, iron showed signs of being dropped and did not work well). Breakfast nice although some items not available right away at 7.45 am weekday.

I am completely exhausted of continuously having to call the hotel to asked them to control the noise in the top floor pool at very late times during weekdays because they're completely unable of running the business in a civilized way. I live in the same street and unfortunately my apartment windows face the pool.

I would have ZERO problems with it if the administration of this place was capable of keeping their clients not causing disturbance to the people who actually lives in this city, but of course this is not the case.

If you cannot afford someone to control your guest after pool hours, then just locked the door to it when it supposed to be closed. This place is not only your money farm but also is a neighborhood.

Answer to the reply below: Dear deputy manager, sorry, then you probably will need to explain me what is this on your own site pictures. Please check the picture I've attached, because that is exactly the one that is always full of people making noise when it should be EMPTY. The fact that your rooftop is not higher than the buildings around of it, doesn't make it less of a rooftop.

Banheiro- agua do ralo não desce e ninguém consegue arrumar. Botão do ar condicionado ruim. Temperatura da agua do chuveiro fica quente e gelada intermitentemente. Piscina com piso que não da para andar por que esquenta muito e escorregadio, quinas pontudas do azulejo por todo a piscina. Um perigo para crianças e idosos. Cerveja da piscina quente, seja chopp ou na garrafa. Muito caro para o que é. Localização boa e atendimento da recepção também.

Love it! Great hotel and nicely decorated. Located in the heart of Barcelona La Plaça de Catalunya! Easy location to hop on hop off busses and multiple city transit. You can even catch the aeroport bus to/from here. Full buffet Breakfast is included and checkout isn’t until noon! Will be staying here again.
