24 Really horrible staff, especially the short woman who never smiles. She was the unfriendliest hotelier I’ve ever met and made my family’s stay horrible. Just look at this unsmiling face.
Also read the other reviews from this hotel where they call people who leave poor reviews LIARS! For example, read their reply to Taxi Barcelona. How shameful of the hotel to cover up and lie about their indecent acts, instead of admitting they act and look like a cheap €50 per day motel. No surprise they also commit fraud!
Friendly staff, excellent free food almost all day and quiet room with comfortable bed, ahhh. Close to City centre.

Relocated here after very dissapointing Stay at Catalonia Ramblas. Very good choice. Much smaller and more upmarket. Safer, more attentive staff, quieter. Excellent breakfast and until 12: 00. In the afternoon free food and non alcoholic drinks in the lounge. Staff checks rooms in the afternoon and closes curtains and starts super quiet room airco when it gets hot in the room. Super service! Spacious and (again) super quiet shower, so taking a shower when your partner is sleeping is no problem. Very comfortabele beds and although located on a busy Street, minimal street noise. Bus terminal in front of hotel and large taxi stand opposit the hotel. Only drawback: on second floor you can hear (if you are a light sleeper) the rumbling of the metro passing under the hotel. Fourth floor, Friends of ours didn't notice it. So if you like quiet, small scale and luxurious hotels, definitly worth booking, you get more "bang for your buck".
