23 The rooftop bar is beautiful, but the staff was not nice nor hospitable. We were 6 people ordering a drink each, and about to order a new one. First of all we had to wait a really long time at the bar to order because the bartender dissppeared. After a while he came, and we ordered some really easy drinks like beer, wine etc plus two cocktails. It was 25 minutes until the bar closed, and he said that we couldn’t order cocktails because it was «20 minutes until they closed» which he later changed it to 15 minutes, even though it was 25 minutes. We were forced to change our drinks whole 25 minutes before the bar closed while being the only ones in the bar ordering. I said that it was doable but the service was just not great.
Will not be coming back there
The location is great, the staff is very nice but the rooms are dated and not very clean-feeling due to chipped paint and scratched chrome and the like. I can see how this was a really nice hotel in its hay day but we’re past that now. Because of the festival we were in town for, we paid premium prices for a mediocre room.
