I had the privilege to stay in this wonderful hotel for a few nights. Almost everything was perfect about this hotel but there were two minor issues, which explains why I did not give a five star rating. I was in doubt for a while whether to give four or five stars but I made my decision to go for the four stars. Below I will explain why.

Everything started great. I arrived at the hotel and Maria helped me. She was really helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to thank her for her services because I had to leave in a hurry during check out. Do not go out until the morning when you have a plane to catch that same morning. It might seem as a good idea at the moment but believe me it is not a good idea at all.

Anyway, when I got up to my room I realised that I had forgotten my tooth paste so I called reception and asked for a new one. They told me they would leave it on my bed in the room because I had to leave for a workshop. When I got back to my room a few hours later I wanted to brush my teeth but guess what: no tooth paste. As a result I had to call reception again with the same request. However, I had to leave again due to a planned dinner. There I was having dinner and conversations with various people with the smell of garlic in my mouth. I for one am of the opinion that as a 5 star hotel you cannot afford to promise a customer something and then not deliver. Did I get the tooth paste eventually? Yes, that evening. I was finally able to brush my teeth.

What is the second issue you might wonder? Well, that is about the breakfast. If it was only the tooth brush I would have given 5 stars but food plays a major role in my life. Dear friends, it will surprise you how annoying wealthy people can be. They can afford to spend a few hundred euros for a night in an amazing hotel but they become primitive at the ‘free’ breakfast. So there are scrambled eggs (important part of breakfast!) but it was put at the buffer in a small scale. Due to this the scrambled eggs vanished within two seconds after it arrived at the buffet. You could wait again for five minutes and hope that no primitive guest would jump in front of you to claim everything for himself/herself. My parents taught me better so I decided to get some fruit and croissant instead. A 5 star hotel should be aware of the primitiveness of its guests and anticipate upon this. Now a man was not able to get his beloved scrambled eggs in the mornings.

Mind you, I’m explaining above why I did not give a five star rating. I may sound pretty negative but it is a great hotel. You will have a wonderful stay: good location, great facilities in the clean room. Would stay here again, but next time I will not forget my tooth paste.

Un palace d'exception. Le meilleur hôtel de Barcelone. Sa récente rénovation est un succès total. Les chambres sont merveilleuses avec la domotique, du mobilier et de la décoration modernes. Privilégiez les derniers étages avec le service Wish: Majordome, accès à un lounge, accès au spa, cave à vin dans la chambre avec Dom Pérignon et grands vins, etc. Le petit-déjeuner est extrêmement complet sous forme de buffet. 3 zones différentes pour les boissons et la nourriture. Sucré, salé. Tous les goûts sont satisfaits. Les restaurants sont de grande qualité. Le service est irréprochable. Le personnel du lounge est extrêmement attentionné et de haut niveau. La piscine extérieure est magnifique. Un havre de calme et de verdure au coeur de Barcelone. Le spa et l'ensemble de ses services sont exceptionnels. Parking et voiturier à disposition. Les prix sont bien sûr conséquents mais c'est relatif aux services et aux prestations. À proximité du centre historique et à côté du Camp Nou. 15 euros depuis la Sagrada familia en Uber. Bravo et hasta luego.

Stayed here on a business trip. 4 days. Excellent hotel in terms of service, room size and especially the washroom- large and almost luxurious.

Had some coffee in 1MPAR- decent restaurant. Had breakfast thrice- decent breakfast though they could improve the choice of cereals. Fruit selection is excellent.

The only reason they don't get a 5 star is because the hotel doesn't give adapters for plug points. Instead they expect you to buy one which is available in the room- which usually would be fine but this one was for 120€. It's a really sophisticated one and the receptionist tried her best to sell it to me- but honestly spending that much because I had forgotten mine- just didn't seem right.

Excellently located. Near the underground, 1 minute from a Starbucks and small bars.

Will stay again.

As a person that travels in the world, I’m visiting in many hotels.
Sofia hotel in Barcelona was very good to me,
I’m happy with my choice,
At the welcome I can see the professional team that work there and give the best service,
The rooms are very beautiful and technological,
The spa area was perfect,
I can continue like that for al the facilities that this hotel offer, for me Sofia hotel make my Barcelona vacation perfect with the score of 10.

After 5 days at the sofia hotel in barcelona, I could said that this was one of the best hotel i ever been, the service was great! The hotel and the room.was beutiful! We very enjoy

Acabo de chegar de uma estadia de uma semana no Hotel Sofia.
Difícil saber por onde começar a descrever tantos pontos positivos. O Hotel é lindo, super moderno, com instalações mega confortáveis e cheio de mimos, como um menu de travesseiros. Dá para notar o cuidado em cada detalhe
Fica clara a preocupação com identidade, uma vez que toda a comunicação é feita como se Sofia fosse um ser humano o que torna a experiência bastante pessoal e inteligente.
Todas as noites, além de entrarem para a abrir as camas, deixavam uma cartinha desejando bons sonhos e com a previsão do tempo do dia seguinte, acompanhada de água e chocolate.
O serviço é impecável.
Destaque para o concierge Luis, super simpático e prestativo e que nos ajudou a fugir de uma greve nacional de taxis justo no dia em que precisávamos ir ao aeroporto, além de dar excelentes recomendações de restaurantes.
O café da manhã é um show à parte. Todo o staff te recebe com sorrisos e é super afetivo. No útimo dia, fomos surpreendidas por um monte de presentes do funcionário Emilio, que nos deixou sem palavras tamanho o cuidado e preocupação em agradar.
Angélica, que atendia a nossa mesa, também é uma querida, já trazia o que sempre comíamos sem que nem precisássemos pedir.
O manager Frederic, extremamente atencioso, estava de olho em tudo o que acontecia para que fosse impecável e trazia iguarias locais típicas para provarmos todos os dias.
Interessante notar como até a trilha sonora de cada ambiente é escolhida a dedo, o que mostra que a preocupação do hotel com uma experiência agradável se estende a cada ponto de contato com os hóspedes.
Se Barcelona já é encantadora, hospedar-se no Hotel Sofia só aumenta a vontade de ficar por lá.

Hotel de lujo con una estética muy cuidada y un servicio excelente. Actualmente uno de los mejores hoteles calidad/precio de Barcelona.

The food is pretty good but. I gotta say. The service is really bad, they are so slow even for the menu. They are kind but I ve seen almost 3 servers with the phone and it looks so rude being in the phone while working.

J’ai séjourné 6 jours dans cet hôtel.
Je n’ai rien à dire tout était parafait.
Le service était très agréable.
Les chambres sont très propre, ils passent pratiquement toute la journée dans les couloir pour vérifier que tout va bien.
La piscine est très agréable.
Le petit déjeuner aussi parfait, y’en a pour tous les gouts!
La salle de sport est ouverte h24 et elle était aussi très propre!
Tout est pensé dans cet hôtel pour que vous vous reposiez.
Je recommande!

Very nice but I was not happy with the modern fixtures and amenities (they were not intuitive and not easy to decipher). I prefer the older more reasonable fixtures and appointments, with a simple on/off switch. The staff is ultra courteous and attentive and the food is very good.

J'ai passé un séjour de 12 jours magnifique. Un grand BRAVO a toute l'équipe qui sont aux petit soins du matin au soir. Hotel calme, chambres tout en domotique, service de chambre excellent, un SPA SPLENDIDE
part contre, à mon gout les massages sont un peut cher dommage.: (
Les petits Dej aussi sont très sympa et le Bar du bas une merveille.
2 petits points à améliorer il n'y à que 2 parasols pour toute la piscine et il n'y a pas de zone fumeur autrement je conseil vraiment cet établissement. BRAVO AU SOFIA BARCELONA.:)

Hôtel situé près de l'aéroport (20 minutes) et à 10 minutes a pied du stade de foot.hôtel très classe.petit déjeuner très variés avec des fruits de saison.pas très loin des bouches de métro.recommande
