Jota Cafe Motorcycles & Scooter Rental Barcelona

I am having a very hard time receiving the deposit of my €300 from a rental on 6/10/22. I have contacted them numerous time, they posted my refund and asked me to take down my review, which they cancelled the next day. I was informed by my bank that the transaction would not post as it was cancelled. I was also very disappointed to see the condition of the rental scooters. We rented a Yamaha Xmax and it was leaking oil. This company is not passionate about the sport of riding. I would never leave my motorcycle in the condition that these rentals are in. Please invest in a toolset.

I rented a motorcycle for 19 days with Jota Cafe Motorcycles for long distance trip in Europe. I got a Yamaha Fazer 650cc and it has performed great every day. The guys were very friendly and it is the best price I could find in Barcelona. Cheers!

Very nice guy who helped us. We rent 4 scooters which were all working perfectly. Definitely recommend this one to rent your scooter!

Pictures etc.look great on their site and reviews indicate that they are a good but The bike I received was in poor condition.very old Honda CB500 with crazy miles on the clock.dents all over body work, anything chrome was rusting, levers and accelerator was sticking.

I paid extra to have the bike dropped off and picked up at the airport expecting that it would be in an easy to locate spot. Turns out they parked up in a van outside the airport on a main road. Took me forever to find this guy.

Bike didn't have any mechanical issues for the 1 day I had it outside of running extremely hot.

Dropped off the bike next day, parked up at the same place as asked. As I'm on the side of the road, I put hazards on and within 10 mins the battery dies.

Great service: scooters are really good (surprisingly so even) and delivered to the airport.

COMO TODO ME LO PROMETIO QUE ME LO DEVOLVIA YO LE ENTREGUE LA MOTO CON EL DEPOSITO LLENO Y EL ME LO ENTREGO MENOS DE LA MITAD. SE LO COMENTE Y ESTO TAMPOCO LE ABLANDO. EN FIN MUY MAL YA VEO EN LAS RESEÑAS QUE ENGAÑA A MAS GENTE.

I can only give my best recommendations to this place! It's fair priced and Josh gives a very good customer service. For us it was important that he spoke english as we don't speak spanish, and everything from road cameras to police fines and the whole vehicle was explained proper in english.
Just keep in mind that you order everything online as you can't just go and walk in a shop because there are none in the Barcelona city. But rest assured that ones you make your reservation and go there Josh will meet you and fix you up with motorcycle/scooter with helmets. We are coming back in November and this is my go to place.

Got a flat tire and they immediately send a rescue team. Also helped us with the processing of some nasty parking tickets

Trato excelente, el chico y la chica con los quienes hemos tratado las dos veces (en una sola semana) que hemos alquilado una motocicleta en Barcelona, nos trataron super bien, las motos han ido estupendamente y también en el servicio de recogida y devolución los dos fueron super puntuales y disponibles. Muy recomendables (comparados a otras compañías parecidas en Barcelona, con muchas de las cuales hemos tenido males experiencias) y óptimos precios.repetiremos 100%!

Buenísimo trato, alquilé una moto de un día para otro y fue facilísimo y rapidísimo. Sin papeleo ni historias, todo desde el móvil. Súper recomendado!

Great place - went above and beyond to accommodate us. Kalim (not sure how to spell) took great care of us and explained all the ins and outs of the bike. Highly recommend!

I come from Turkey and I am very enthusiastic about this service and the staff. Especially from Kalim, he is a very friendly and honest man. Highly recommend it!

Call ahead and make sure they are open.they said yes. Came, called again, said they would come in 5 minutes. We waited 15 minutes for them and they didn't come.they do not have an office or a shop, they live in apartments and rent bikes that are parked nearby. The bikes don't look like they're in the best condition. I do not recommend.
