Meliá Barcelona Sarrià

Un poco antiguo en comparación con otros Melias. Si te alojas en Barcelona es mejor el de Sitges. Los aseos no estaban muy limpios pero el personal era muy amable.

Wonderful place to stay on business. Restuarant has the best oven fired pizza. Rooms are clean and compact. Unfortunately it is very noisy you can hear people above you and the st noise will keep you up.

Breakfast is good, but not for a 5 star hotel. Only one coffee machine, which is working.
Spa is awful. Just awful.
Little area without big changing rooms, no place to dry your hair.
Water in a pool is very cold (it’s not 28 degrees as the staff told us), no saunas (they are just not working).
15 euro for that quality!

Rooms are fine, but for 4 star hotel maximum!

I expected Melia Hotel to be 5* as advertised knowing this chain and the quality it should deliver. It was so far from 5*. The receptionist had no idea about the conference that was taking place on the day I arrived. The room was outdated, cracked mirror in the bathroom, old Jacuzzi didn't work, electric outlet in the bathroom was malfunctioning which burned my hair straightener. The windows face the windows of neighbouring houses which makes it quite noisy at night. No iron, no ironing board. <br/>No breakfast included in 150 Eur per night stay. Not sure what I paid for. <br/>Disappointing experience.

I stayyed one night at the Level and two nights at a regular room. The level was amazing. The regular room was a disappointment.

The front desk was rude at check-in, the mattress needs to be replaced, could feel every spring/coil, the wash cloths I requested were removed from my room and not replaced, the walls are very thin, could hear noises from other rooms, hallway and from the streets and finally, when we checked in we told the staff we didn’t want the breakfast plan, but when we checked our bill when leaving he charged us for a week of breakfast. I highly recommend you find another hotel in Barcelona, there are sure plenty to pick from.

The location of the hotel was excellent. However, the rest was all pretty average considering the rating of the hotel (stars). The service was very mediocre, none of staff were particularly interested in going the extra mile. For example we wanted decaffeinated tea and none was available and no-one hurried to try to rectify the situation. I know this might be seem as a lot to ask, but it's a 5* hotel and I'd expect a lot! There was no pool (which I mistakenly thought there was) and the beds while massive, were pretty uncomfortable. Would not hurry back.

El Hotel Meliá Barcelona Sarria, para ser un 5 estrellas brilla poco.
A diferencia del último hotel de la cadena Meliá que me costó irme, les puedo decir que del Meliá Barceló Sarria me iré con ganas de no volver.
Las habitaciones pequeñas, horribles antiguas y según el Meliá Barcelona Sarria yo por ser Platino tengo derecho a una habitación superior.
Si esta es horrible me da miedo pensar como seria la inferior.
El día 21 de agosto por motivos propios tuve que salir del hotel a las 6 de la mañana y llevaba una maleta al salir y cogí el tren y sobre las 14 me llaman al móvil y respondo si di diga mire soy del Hotel Meliá Barcelona Sarria y nos acaba de llegar un paquete para usted va usted a volver al hotel.
Lo primero que pensé fue esta genta está loca o que pasa si he pagado el hotel hasta el 3 de Septiembre, lo primero que me vino a la mente fue esta gente como me vio salir pronto y llevaba una maleta, y estaba el vigilante pensaría mira uno que se va sin pagar y lo contaría al resto de la plantilla.
Ah y se me olvidaba la primera noche que llegamos al hotel pedimos en la cena de beber una sangría nos la trajo el camarero diciendo van a probar la mejor sangría de su vida, no tienen ni idea de lo que una buena sangría yo les aconsejaría que se pasaran por el Meliá Valencia, eso sí nos cobraron 12 euros por una sangría que venden en el supermercado a 1,50€.

Nos dieron una habitación con HUMEDAD. Por suerte nos cambiaron rápidamente a una mejor. Y todo salio bien!

Very nice hotel where every single member of staff is amazing. The only thing going against it is that as its in the business district, it is quite far away from the city centre but public transport links are pretty good so as long as you have a travel card its fine. The Spa is a bit small bit is nice. The small pool with jacuzzi needs to be warmer, as does the steam room.the level lounge was a welcome treat although a lot of the food in there availabule during then day is quite carb heavy.the breakfasts in the uno restaurant were very good- lenty of choice.the rooms were a decent size are were the bathrooms. Very nice showers but be careful, its quite easy to flood the bathroom if you don't shut the door properly.there are some nice restaurants near by if you want to get off the beat and track.there is also a very good wine shop on the same street.if you are wanting to take some wine/gin/beer/etc home with you, walk there, its cheaper than duty free.we were perfectly happy here.

The breakfast is really good. There is a good freshly prepared variety. However the bathroom was dirty. The shower had mould all over the floor and celling. It was disgusting. We stayed for 4 night and although our duvet covers were changed, the bed sheets were not. I regret was not taking pictures. The girl who check us in and out was welcoming.

Unfortunately the hotel is overrated. Although I booked online through their website, they asked 4 times the price to upgrade the room after checking in. Reception asked me to contact group reservations and the reservations asked to me check with the hotel reception itself. I complained to reception and no one bothered. Eventually I decided not to upgrade my room. They lost additional revenue and added one more unsatisfied guest to their list.
Rooms does not include personal kit such as shaving kit, dental kit, slippers.etc. I wonder how is it rated 5 star hotel!
Location is very bad, away from almost everything. Needed at least 45 minutes in transportation to reach La Rambla or beach.
So far breakfast is the only good part in this hotel. Oh one more thing, I called room service for fork, and they gave 2 options, either I go to the bar and take it my self, or they send it with delivery charge!

Great location for a hotel near Diagonal, this was good as it was close enough for working to Casa Milia nearly 25 minutes, main shops nearby, and great local neighbourhood centrally. Beach was 40 minute walk. Upgraded to a larger room which was more spacious. Cleanliness very good, friendly staff, good cooked breakfast which I recommend esp with all the walking. It’s also very safe location in a very will it area.

Hôtel bien situé, calme chambre de bonne qualité et personnels agréable. Pas de chaînes Françaises cependant.

This Hotel is supposed to be a 4-Star hotel. But, our room (a triple room) and one of the more expensive ones, was not so pleasant to stay in. The shower stall had MOLD all over. It was disgusting. We stayed here with our two small children of 1 year and 5 years old. Also, the window molding of wood was rotting off.

Love this hotel. Modern in a great location and buzzy with lots of seating areas to break out and chill in and a good stocked bar but it closed too early
