Pol & Grace Hotel, Barcelona

The kids and I stayed at this hotel this past week.

It's a 4.5 / 5. Location was excellent with the L7 metro two minutes walk away and the L3 some 10 minutes offering excellent links to the wider venues of the city.

I picked this venue as it was far enough outside the hustle and bustle of central Barcelona, but also had excellent transport links.

The room was minimal and to our liking. The wetroom shower with rainforest head was fantastic.

We didn't have the breakfast, which was purely down to us wanting to try the local offering.

Reception stay are very attentive.

Realmente el precio me pareció un poco excesivo, en mi caso 190€ 1 noche (sábado) con desayuno y tasas… Con el personal la verdad que todo correcto, pero antes de llegar a la habitación todo el pasillo olía muy fuerte a tabaco y eso no nos gustó.

La habitación era para no fumadores y si que es verdad que dentro no olía nada, la decoración muy muy minimalista, todo blanco. En cuanto a la limpieza la verdad que todo correcto.

Pedí una cama doble (especifiqué que fuera un único colchón) y eran 2 colchones juntos con una especie de sábana por encima y solo con sentarte ya hacía el típico ruidito… La verdad incómoda.

El desayuno es tipo buffet hay un poco de todo y el personal muy atento, no había bebida de avena y me la trajeron a parte.

El hotel es normalito, un concepto distinto con algunos toques artísticos, curioso. En definitiva me esperaba algo más, definitivamente no lo recomiendo para ir en pareja.

Comfortable bed, large room with fridge. No tea or coffee making facilities onsite however (no kettle in the rooms or elsewhere) as the coffee machine was broken. Also quite expensive.

I’ll start with the positive - the surrounding area has everything you need, cafes, pharmacy, bank, public transport.
Now for the negative - the rooms are certainly not soundproof! Neither is this a 4 star hotel. The rooms are tired and shabby, shower head falls off constantly while in use, large beds are just two joined together that squeak a lot!
No mirror other than in the bathroom, hard to actually get into the shower/bath as the bidet has been put right in the way.
Standard of cleanliness was ok but not as you would expect for a 4 star with no amenities like room service etc.
I booked this stay as wanted a quiet room to recover from eye surgery and unfortunately this was not the best place for that.

Hem fet dos nit com a parella. El preu, uns 375 euros, amb aparcament, desdejuni a banda per poc més de 9 euros per persona. Coses bones: la ubicació, prop de Gràcia i d'estació de ferrocarril i a 12 minuts de metro, un llit súper ample i amb aparcament. Coses que no m'han agradat, el manteniment de l'habitació: l'interruptor de la llum del banys anava mal i l'aigua de la dutxa se n'eixia per baix de la mampara al pis del bany.

Misleading 4 star hotel, in my stay the staff was very nice and and the room was spacious and confortable. However a 4 star hotel without room service, gym, spa, pool, garden, bar make you feel a little bit rare.

Pasamos la noche. Excelente la habitación y el trato del personal. La ubicación es perfecta para salir a comer caminando.

The staff was the best part- super friendly and helpful! Not a 4-star hotel per se, but it is something to note if that's what you're looking for. Had some issues with the door cards, elevators, and the coffee machine. However, they are servicing and fixing it all:) There was no air conditioning because it was still winter season, so the room was hot, and no fans were provided. The option was to open the window, but the hotel is on a busy street, and the traffic noise is loud, making it hard to sleep.

El persosonal super amable i atent, l’habitació on ens hem allotjat molt amplia i molta lluminositat. El bufet exelent. Un 10 per al personal.

Do not stay here, the walls are PAPER thin. Heard one couple (think it's actually 5 people) throughout the night, completely inappropriate building for s hotel.
People left their dogs here to bark for the whole day as well. This is 100% an avoid never coming back.
Shame as the staff are nice and the open spaces have a professional image.
