A Nuestra Señora de la Paloma, Madrid

Mala experiencia baño interior sucio, con olor a cloaca que invadía la habitacion, se avisó y no pusieron remedio, cambiaron llaves de la puerta de la calle sin avisar. Eso sí está en pleno centro de Madrid.

Hemos escogido una habitación para dos personas con baño privado. (42€)
La cama es cómoda, el aire acondicionado funciona bien, no hay armarios pero sí huecos con perchas, la habitación iba pintada en blanco con un cuadro, un poco cutre la verdad aunque si es cierto que las vistas por el ventanal son bonitas, el gel y el champú son monodosis y escasos (mejoraría bastante con unos dispensadores)
La ducha es escasa, muy pequeña y no apta para personas de talla XXL) hay un radiador que tiene más años que yo.
La lámpara es cuqui.
Las sábanas podrían estar mejor.
El baño muy pequeño.
Conclusión:
Por éste precio he visto hostales mejores en Madrid aunque sí he de decir que la dependienta era muy maja.

En ESPANOL: Había hecho una reserva por dos noches en la noche y cancelado antes medio día en el día seguido por razones privado, de manera muy correcta y vía el contacto dado por Expedia. Sin embargo, no me respondieron hasta hoy – 3 semanas después- y todo a pesar de que escribe ellos también por el contacto en su página web y otra vez, con mucho cortesía por mi parte. No me han respondido ni revuelto nada, ni siquiera la segundo noche, que no es correcto para nada, en ningún lugar del mundo. Eso muestra que no actúan correctamente y son tacaños- algo que todos deberían tener en cuenta cuando haciendo una reservación con ellos.
IN ENGISCH: At the evening I have booked two nights there, just to say friendly and politely via the Expedia provided contact form until noon next day that I was unfortunately unable to come -a week later contacting them by their own webpages contact form- and always without any answer and still having kept my money and this also for the 2nd night; the latter internationally not common at all. That, by many means, is not correct and everybody who thinks about booking there should please keep that in mind.

Hôtel dans le centre ville mes les chambres laisse a désirer pas trop propre vu sur un mur mauvaise odeurs idéal pour baroudeurs sinon passé votre chemain

The reception was very friendly and welcoming. He speaks English but was happy to practice Spanish with us. The location is unbeatable. A 2 minute walk to plaza mayor and Puerte del sol. 15 minutes to el prado and reina Sofía. Easy access to major transportation. It was a safe location. The room itself is why I have knocked off a star. First the room was pretty clean. Although it was inexpensive, it was almost too small to walk in. The towels did smell a bit of smoke and we're hardly absorbent at all. The bed was comfortable. It was a bit noisy but once we figured out that there were three doors, the noise was reduced considerably. I stayed for two nights with my partner and that was probably that maximum I could stay there.

Good hotel. Amazing location right in the heart of Madrid! Just a few metres from Sol, Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor. A couple of minutes walk from Royal Palace. Plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Be aware a fantastic location like this one means lots of noise too.

Room wasn't too big but spacious enough. Same goes for the shower. They offer toiletries and towels. Bed was extremely comfortable, made it hard to wake up!
There's a mini fridge in the room and an electric kettle but only plastic glasses so we couldn't use it.

WiFi was the faster we have ever experienced in a hotel! TV didn't work very well, couldn't even turn it off neither change language settings.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Good price, 47€/night.

Bad thing was walls are extremely thin. Woke up many times in the middle of the night by people arriving/leaving/going to the bathroom. Too much noise and too little respect for other guests.

Présence de punaises de lit:

Le week commençait bien, la chambre paraissaient modeste mais accueillante, la salle de bain petite mais convenable. Pas un établissement incroyable mais la chambre faisait l'affaire pour un week end passé majoritairement dans la ville.

Premier point négatif: Impossible de dormir paisiblement à cause des bruits de la rue (pas d'insonorisation), des bruits de tuyauterie et autres bruits de pas aux autres étages.

Second point négatif: LES PUNAISES DE LITS (Voir photo). Suite à la seconde nuit passée là bas, je me suis réveillée le dos, les bras, le cou couverts de piqures d'insectes. Lorsque j'ai ouvert le lit j'ai pu constater la présence de petites et grosses punaises cachées dans les oreillers et les draps.

Résultats des courses: Un enfer lors de mon retour car j'ai du laver a haute temperature la totalité de mes vêtements ou en jeter certains pour eviter la contamination de mon appartement. Cet événement laisse un gout amer qui n'a pas été apaisé par les managers, ne me donnant pas de réelle solution ou excuse après mon séjour.

This is the nastiest place I have ever stayed. The room smells heavily of mold. The toilet drip noisily. The floor tiles are broken and partially held in place with clear tape. The walls are scuffed and dirty. The safe was supposedly not working, but on check out we learned we should have been provided a key. The common area outside the room was piled with linen, amongst the dirty cups and various item meant to be discarded. The walls appeared to have undergone some major water damage as the were peeling away in two foot long chunks. We checked out after the first night and would have left sooner. Had we been able to secure a new reservation so late. However we were still charged for the next night. This place should not be in business.
