54Beautiful hotel in the city centre. Booked the Deluxe View Balcony King, Guest room, 1 King, City view, Balcony. The room was small, but the balcony was nice to have. Hospitality was fantastic, with the stay.
Excelente, Todo el Personal muy bueno. Fernández y David, excelente trabajo. Estoy seguro que Marriot, debe y tiene la.obligacion de ofrecerles todas las oportunidades para desarrollarse dentro de la cadena. Suerte y exitos.
This hotel located in centre of Madrid. Good location and nice designed rooms.
It’s a bit expensive.
What a great property and staff! This was my second time to Madrid and I couldn't been happier with everything, it was fantastic. The lobby aesthetic of the hotel is very sleek and our room was unique and spectacular. Going to play at the Casino gave it such a unique and exciting European feel. The staffing was very helpful, including with finding a convenient Covid testing facility and Christian gave an amazing recommendation for La Lonja del Mar to finish off our trip! The area is very busy and convenient to jump on the metro so for a first or second time there it places you in the heart of the city. I can't say enough about this hotel.and the city of course!
We arrive earlier than the check in time but were able to check in at about 10: 15 AM. The young lady who checked us in was friendly and professional, while the bellman was helpful, getting our luggage from the Uber and bringing them to our room.
We booked a junior suite and it did not disappoint us. The room was very nicely decorated, with warm tones and nice accents. The linens were of high quality and the bed was comfortable.
On day 2 we enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast at the restaurant and looked around the property, which shares a space with a casino.
The views from our room were of the surrounding streets and it was quite enjoyable.
You should expect city sounds, as you are smack dab in the middle of Central Madrid. But it did not bother us.
I would definitely give this property 5 stars and would definitely book here again.
Elegant 4 star hotel in central Madrid. Breakfast is served at your table and is a little slow, but the food is good.
This was our first time staying here. The hotel provided a great boutique experience and really took care of us. The room was top notch. Very clean property with an upgraded ambiance.
Best place I stayed in Madrid so far! Super clean, well taken care of and the service was excellent. The rooms were spacious and adorable. Lot of peace and tranquility in the middle of the center. Location is fabulous as well. Thank you Circulo Gran Vía, I will be back:)
Hotel discreto, personale gentile. Le camere sono molto ampie e ben pulite, unica nota negativa sono stati i rumori che trapelavano dall’esterno.
I stayed here for two nights and will come back again. The room were decent size and liked the location of the hotel.
Upside is this hotel is renovated to a high standard and is within walking distance to Prado etc. The staff is helpful and attentive. Rooms are well appointed and quiet.
Downside is there is no desk to work at in the room, and no business center with computer etc for guests to use. No newspapers on site and non available until after 9, which are only available by special request.
The cable has over 30 channels, but no CNN or BBC News. Only CNBC features and Bloomberg.
Breakfast is a standard 30 Euros whether you have toast and coffee or the select off the menu. This is very limiting and not quite fair.
Although room is comfortable, and location good, due to these issues I would not stay here again.
Central location. Very touristy (I didnt realize it's that annoying until I got here) but you are in center of everything. Nice hotel, rooms are beautiful, spacious and renovated- though at $215 per night I would hope breakfast may be included but it wasnt.
Refine and upscale place, very politely and well trained personnel, best location in Madrid, within walking distance to major attractions.
Great location. Room is nice and modern. Could use more English TV. Casino in hotel is bug enough. Did not try the restaurant. I would stay here again.
Great location on Gran Via, room was beautiful and modern, clean and very spacious. I was surprised at how big the room was considering that it is right on Gran Via and right next to the Gran Via Metro stop as well as the Sevilla Metro stop (although both were under construction 9/2018). The rain shower and the hot tub with jets was a great touch.
The door man who also helped us with our luggage was super helpful and attentive and I enjoyed seeing him throughout our trip. He always had a smile for us and was friendly and answered any questions we had. He also helped with showing us the room and explaining how to use your key card in the little slot to turn on the electricity (something that was not explained to us at the Alfonso XIII in Sevilla). I think that is a Spain thing because my Barcelona hotel also had the same thing.
The experience is unlike a higher end hotel in one aspect though. The front desk / lobby area is very small. People working the front desk are on a table with a laptop. It's pretty much walk in, see two desks with laptops and your elevator to get to your room. Not a big deal but that means the lobby is almost non-existent with no resting area / restrooms to use (besides going over to the Casino).
Overall I enjoyed the hotel, the rooms were beautiful, modern and spacious, and the staff was very helpful. Was a little pricey and on my next trip to Madrid I'd be comfortable staying further away from the city center but close to a Metro stop to save on money and maybe save on the mayhem associated with being on the busiest street in Madrid.
Location, location, location.the hotel is located central to EVERYTHING Madrid. I didnt need any kind of transportation other then my feet. The staff is on point with everything and willing to resolve any issues (not that I had any). As a single traveller, having no kids was kind of peaceful. Rooms are modern and well maintained. If budget isnt an issue for your accommodation, consider this Marriot property.
Beautiful rooms. Immaculate clean. Staff waa great. Perfect location for walking to all the Centro sights.
Great and friendly staff, mid-town location, beautiful rooms, and, if you’re of the gambling persuasion, a casino in the same building. I’m here for the second of four nights—if anything changes, I’ll edit. Highly recommended.
Stayed here for 3 nights in May. Amazing stay! Super close to shops, restaurants, clubs, etc. Room was super clean and spacious. Felt very safe, Staff was friendly and very helpful. P. S. The numerous negative reviews seem to be false. Not one issue with our stay. Can't wait to return!
