CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha, Madrid

My stay at this palace was outstanding. The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful in finding our way around town. They helped us book a tour of the city and family photos to commemorate our visit. The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms. We booked a two room suite with breakfast included. I highly recommend that package. The hotel is located within 15 mins walking distance from all things you would want to do in Madrid. The restaurant within the hotel is wonderful. The food is tasty with a great selection of options. And your only moments away from other restaurants and cafes and shopping.oh boy the shopping! But I have to say that favorite part of my stay was the exceptional staff from the front desk and concierge to the restaurant manager and waiters/waitress to housekeeping. If you are going to Madrid, this is the place to stay. I give it my highest rating.

Estuvimos en la terraza. Sitio muy acogedor y especialmente el camarero que nos atendió. Repetiremos.

Sólo he visitado su restaurante. La zona del patio tiene las mesas cubiertas y con ventiladores de techo, al lado de una piscina y una fuente. Alrededor de la piscina sofás en los que se puede tomar una copa. El ambiente muy agradable, los camareros atentos y la comida rica. Para el verano un oasis dentro de Madrid. Lo recomiendo

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! What a wonderful hotel. The room was very large with a high ceiling and a very modern design look. Our room overlooked the pool and the courtyard. The service was above and beyond from directions to restaurant recommendations. The staff was always friendly and energetic. The small restaurant terrace was beautiful. The food and service special. You may also eat and drink at the pool. One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Do not miss it. A special thank you to Diego for all of his help.

Fuimos a la terraza del hotel porque el acceso es para cualquier persona, no necesariamente huéspedes del hotel. Llegamos ayer por la tarde, miércoles, que ya de por sí no es un día que vaya mucha gente a tomarse nada por ser entre semana, y como era de esperar la terraza estaba medio vacía. Nos atendió un camarero que tenía bastantes pocas ganas de trabajar (eso se nota por la forma de hablar y por el movimiento) y nos dijo que teníamos que esperar 15-20 minutos porque eran reservas para la gente del hotel, lo cual no entendemos porque repito, estaba casi vacía. Salieron dos grupos en el rato que estuvimos esperando y el trabajador ni siquiera apareció para darnos explicaciones. Esperamos media hora y al final decidimos irnos. Un desastre. Un trato mediocre sólo por no ser "huépedes" del hotel, cuando probablemente dejase yo más ganancia que todos los que estaban ahí bebiendo una copa de vino cochambroso.

Fuimos a tomar una copa y por falta de sitio en la zona de piscina nos ubicaron en lo que llaman bar inglés. No lo recomiendo pues, aunque las copas están bien, se confundieron de copa al servirnos las ginebras (sirvieron seagrams en copa con lima y beefeater en copa con naranja) ; además en el bar inglés hacen la recogida de los cubiertos del restaurante y el secado de los mismos en la barra con el consiguiente ruido innecesario.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Coolrooms. The room was absolutely stunning, luxurious and spacious. Perfect location for restaurants and sightseeing in Madrid, and lovely staff who were absolutely helpful! We will definitely go back when travelling Madrid next time.

La terraza es un sitio maravilloso para tomar unas cervezas. La piscina sólo la orden usar los clientes, pero puedes estar seguro en las tumbonas mientras tomas algo. Un lugar con encanto

Lugar excepcional. Nunca había visitado un lugar tan especial y quedé fascinado por la atención y lo bonito del sitio. Una vez llegamos a la suite quedamos perplejos de lo maravilloso que era nuestra habitación. Tres ambientes bien diferenciados, terraza y jacuzzi. Sólo puedo recomendarlo. El desayuno es fabuloso. Si nunca probaste los huevos benedictinos, hazlo. Gracias por tratarnos tan bien.

Perfect location combined with perfect luxury stay!
i start with the staff: so friendly! So helpful and so welcoming.you can ask them anything at anytime and they will be happy to assist you.location: the hotel is close to EVERYWHERE! 10 min walking from gran via, 10 min walking to the palace and all the great locations around.breakfast: very good! I recommend to take the breakfast and not start to look around because Madrid wakes up late!

It is everything you want from a hotel overseas. Room and bathroom are amazing. Got the bougie vibes and amazing customer service. CHRISTIAN goes above and beyond to make sure you are situated, comfortable and informed; let him make the reservations and you are good! The rest of the staff is amazing as well. Hotel is very central and will stay here again. I will recommend to all my friends and family!

Fabulous well appointed suite in the heart of Madrid with the most accommodating and friendliest hotel staff. Very nice touches throughout the suits including chocolates on pillows. The super king bed was super comfy and spacious and bathroom was generous with a double shower and double basin. The only improvement could be to heat the pool year round for guests and to light up the corridors a little more. Will be back!

We stayed here for a couple of days after we got married and it was really lovely. Great staff, nice pool out the back and great location. Cocktails are tasty too! Highly recommend staying here for a couple of nights if in Madrid.

El hotel es maravilloso con unas instalaciones de primer nivel. Las habitaciones perfectas y muy tranquilas, la terraza con piscina, el restaurante. El personal que lo atiende lo convierte en un lugar ideal muy recomendable.

Was recently booked at this hotel, i tested positive for Covid so cancelled my Spain trip and all hotels including this one. Unfortunately they are the only hotel that committed FRAUD AND STILL CHARGED MY CARD. Despite numerous emails to them explaining their mistake they refused to reverse the charges. Stay away from this place!

Sólo he estado en el restaurante y todo ha sido excelente.
Además, la ubicación es magnífica.

Me quede a dormir y fue una noche maravillosa! Quedo rendido a los pies de quien lleva este sitio tan maravilloso!
