Hotel Atlántico, Madrid

Wonderful central location being updated in many ways. Quality hotel with exceptional shower, double sinks, and tub. Always a big plus. Great bed and bedding.
Parking often a hassle and expensive and this was the case here.

Great location, close to various things, surrounded by lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel itself is well maintained, the room and bathroom were nice.

Hace unos meses estuvimos alojados en este hotel y fue estupendo, desde los empleados hasta una pedazo habitación super cómoda y chula, la atención recibida y la excelente ubicación. Este fin de semana hemos vuelto a Madrid y al pasar por delante y recordar que dispone de una terraza muy coqueta con un templete mirador de 360º hemos entrado a disfrutar un rato de la misma. Subimos a la última planta y un empleado de la recepción nos sigue y nos da alcance antes de entrar a la terraza. Nos pregunta si estábamos alojados en el hotel y al contestarle que lo estábamos y recordábamos la terraza del mismo que nos gustó, habiamos decidido subir a tomar algo y disfrutar de la misma. El empleado nos dijo que no seria posible ya que la terraza era solamente de uso y disfrute de las personas alojadas en el mismo. Como? Anda que no hay hoteles con terrazas que están encantados de recibirte con los brazos abiertos y si encima haces gasto, mejor que mejor no? Pues tuvimos que salir del hotel sin poder disfrutar de la terraza
Así que, chicos chicas, ya sabeis, si no estáis alojados en este hotel, no podéis disfrutar de su terraza, una lastima.

I stayed Hotel Atlantico last month for nearly a week. The hotel itself is old school style. Twice, I had to make changes to my reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, and the staff at reception was beyond helpful. The location is a perfect tourist trap dream. The rooms are a little dated, but the bathrooms appeared recently renovated. The rooftop bar has a great view, and in my time there was never too crowded. I would suggest they might want to invest in some better food options for the rooftop. It's a great space, and they could make more of it for the food / drink menu.

Overall, I would stay there again. The staff from Alvaro at reception to the drink lady upstairs (among others) were more than accommodating, and the price is right for the location.

This is such a nice hotel in a great location on Gran Via. The room was lovely with a large bed, small table and two chairs and a desk/vanity. The bathroom was large and very pretty with green marble. The room and the entire hotel was sparkling clean and the breakfast was great with a large variety of food and excellent service. The people at the front desk were helpful and spoke perfect English. Finally, the roof looked lovely, although it was too cold to take advantage of during our stay. If I return to Madrid, I would definitely stay here again.
