Hotel NH Collection Madrid Suecia

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. Biggest complaint is the noise. The walls and doors are very thin so you hear everyone in the hallways, doors slamming, people talking, house keeping banging away. We asked about room service one night, it was late, they said they didn't have any.yet their website advertises a 24 hour late night menu. During the day, the food at the restaurant was not good. The service was horrific. We were told to walk around the building to enter the front of the restaurant when there was an entrance within the hotel itself. Then the girl said they didn't have any tables available but half the tables were empty! I said to the manager that we were guests of the hotel and then they said no problem we have a table. We left 15 minutes into brunch because it was so terrible - food awful, service terrible. Would never stay here again. I will say that hotel front desk staff were kind and professional but It's just a mediocre hotel overall and the noise that can be heard is completely unacceptable.

Como ambiente para amigos con vistas mi valoración es muy buena. La comida en rooftop deja mucho que desear para el precio que tienen. Los cocktails ni fu ni fá. Mejorable relación calidad/precio.

Hello, we loved our stay at NH Collection Suecia. Veronica and Yolanda at the front desk were awesome. Veronica spent about 2 hours helping us figure out all of our Covid testing papers and health forms for our upcoming trip. She was extremely helpful and someone please give her a raise. This hotel was perfect. Great location and more importantly, the staff was outstanding. We also loved the roof top bar attached to the hotel. It was such a good experience and I can't wait to come back. Great job guys! Keep up the good work.

Très bien, un peu de bruit le soir dû en face au bar mais n'empêche pas de dormir. Le personnel au petit soin. Parfait pour un séjour à Madrid.

Ubicación excelente, cerca de todo pero en un entorno tranquilo. Habitaciones espaciosas y cómodas. Desayuno a pesar de no ser buffet, super completo y excelentemente atendido. Pero lo que destacaría por encima de todo es la amabilidad de todo el personal, su valor humano es excelente! Recomendado al cien por cien.

Hola! Quiero compartirles mi experiencia; llegué a este hotel porque quería visitar el Thyssen y cuando hice la búsqueda este fue uno de los que me apareció cerca. Tengo que felicitar al equipo, la habitación y sus instalaciones un 100; la comida y amenidades y la mejor atención que he tenido en mucho tiempo! Muchas gracias!

Una maravilla de Hotel, con una atención increíble, siempre dispuestos, todo el personal, para ayudarte en lo que necesites! El buen rollo se nota desde que entras por la puerta! Encantada con el desayuno ️ y muy muy limpias las instalaciones, súper importante ahora más que nunca con el Covid! La próxima vez que visitemos Madrid, ya tenemos hotel!

Esta muy bien, lo único cuidado con la as chicas de recepción por que te llaman a un taxi para el aeropuerto que te cobra una comisión que luego les da a las recepcionistas.

Very recommendable hotel. Front desk staff were polite, helpful and spoke great English (which was helpful for my family who is not so versed in the language). The bar was wonderful with a great atmosphere and the room was comfortable and stunningly clean. This hotel is perfectly located as well with many rooftop terraces, museums and shopping near by.among so much more. I will certainly be booking with NH Collection Suecia the next time I stay with friends / family in Madrid.:)

El hotel esta en un sitio privilegiado, una situación escelente. Las habitaciones muy confortables, pero sobre todo, el personal del hotel muy atento, agradable y profesional. Hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera aún mejor.

A very confortable hotel situated next to Gran Via and Puerta del Sol. Clean, friendly and with a very nice rooftop bar. This is an address to remember!

Hemos hecho allí el bautizo de nuestro hijo y genial. Servicio impecable, súper amables y un menú espectacular.

We took this hotel for the lazy Sunday late checkout. Only they called us awake, we mentioned the late checkout and went to sleep again which was not really possible after the loud telephone ring: (
Also the noise of the cleaning lady in the hall and other rooms was too much. I do like the location of the hotel and I hope next time if I try this I really am not bothered with noise or early checkout. The service for the rest was great, had nice note in the room, chocolates and as well as flowers on the bed. If you do not call me awake next time it will be at least one star more.

Muy contento con el descubrimiento de este hotel en pleno centro de Madrid. Las atenciones del personal y la amabilidad de estos es un punto muy a tener en cuenta. Destacar en especial a la Guest Relations Katy quien no dudó en enseñarnos el hotel.

El primer día descubrí la terraza que tienen en la azotea, que tiene unas vistas magníficas del skyline de Madrid, sin embargo el horario de cierre por la noche es algo corto, por tanto es preferible ir al atardecer. Cuando ya pensaba haber descubierto todo, Katy nos comentó la existencia del famoso "bar clandestino" en la planta -1. Lo asombro de este bar es que el acceso al mismo se realiza a través de un baño ubicado en el restaurante de la planta baja.

En definitiva, ha sido la primera vez que he visitado este hotel pero no será la última. Mis felicitaciones a todos los empleados, una vez más.

This is a lovely boutique hotel located centrally. You can access the museums easily as well as the Puerto Del Sol on foot. Good restaurants are available within walking distance. Rooms are small but clean and well designed. Linens are top quality, beds are comfortable, bathrobes and slippers are provided. There are not many electrical outlets. The bathrooms are fantastic with good water pressure and temp, impressive design, nice toiletries and a great hair dryer. Iron and board are available upon request. Breakfast is good with options of cereals, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries and fruits plus coffee and tea. The breakfast room is very comfortable and well decorated. Staff are all friendly and helpful and gave us a free upgrade. Would stay here again.

Recently stayed at Suecia - beautiful, spacious sixth floor room with view.
The housekeeper, Miury, made sure our room was spotless and that we had everything we needed. Real coffee-making machine a bonus when you're away from home!
Customer Relations Manager Katy was superb - friendly and extremely helpful and professional, as indeed were all the staff with whom we had contact.
NH Suecia is perfectly positioned, close to Plaza de Cibeles and everything is within walking distance - apart from Santiago Bernabeu - which is a short bus ride away and a 'must do' for anyone interested in football. The Prado is a 15 minute walk away - but get tickets in advance to minimise queueing. Excellent tapas bars in the Gran Via close by.
We have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe but this was the best in our price range.

Hace un mes (el día 23 de junio de 2018) estuvimos en la boda de un familiar y después de reflexionar y pensarlo con tranquilidad y fríamente NO recomendaríamos el sitio para nada. La comida dejaba que desear (el pescado estaba congelado y en general los platos eran escasos), el personal era poco profesional (pedimos una cuchara y nunca llegó y también quisimos un poco más de pan para los niños y nos lo trajeron cuando ya habían acabado de comer), en general, no están preparados para organizar eventos ni atender les diferentes necesidades de los clientes (íbamos con un bebé y pedimos que nos calentaran un potito. La respuesta de uno de los camareros fue que no tenían microondas, por lo que pedí que me calentaran agua en un vaso o bol para poder calentarlo yo misma y.el camarero se giró y se puso a atender a otro cliente. Cierto es que otro de los camareros fue a calentarlo a la cocina).
En general, felicito al hotel porque sois geniales estropeando uno de los días más importantes para los novios.
