Hicimos la cata de vermú y nos divertimos mucho. Algunas de las botellas que probamos eran tan únicas que no pude irme y comprar una para llevarme a casa.

¡Una de las catas de vino más entretenidas y divertidas que he tenido, al mismo tiempo que puedo experimentar un excelente vino y aprender mucho sobre las producciones vitivinícolas españolas y mundiales! ¡Lucas es divertidísimo! Estuve muy cerca de hacer una segunda prueba el mismo día.

Brillante experiencia en una cata de vermú aquí. Anfitrión super amable y conocedor, grupo reducido y 4 vermuts realmente diferentes e interesantes para probar. El equilibrio justo entre historia/información y chat general. Altamente recomendado.

Brought my parents here during their most recent visit and they loved it! The wine shop has recently moved into a bigger space with plenty of room for enjoying a glass of wine, or in our case, a tasting. Luke, one of the owners, was a lovely non-pretentious guide and the 3 wines we tasted were all fantastic. Can’t wait to go back for one of their Inside the Bottle tastings soon!

Our knowledge of Spanish wines is now tremendously higher thanks to our visit to Madrid & Darracott. If you are new to trying wines of Spain, perhaps first time travelers to Spain as we are, consider booking a tasting at M&D. A guided tasting of 3 wines (with generous pours) and lots of information about wine regions of Spain will be provided. The tastings are in small groups (10 or fewer guests) so definitely book ahead online, by phone or of course in person if you're nearby. Questions are encouraged and welcome and thoroughly answered.
We were beyond satisfied with our experience and highly recommend you take advantage of a tasting with M&D.

Yo pedí recomendaciones a Luke, un, o de sus dueños, y probé unos vinos excelente. El sitio es bar, ti da y también organizan catas de vino y vermuts. Encontrar este sitio ha sido una grata sorpresa!

Came here for the vermouth tasting experience, other experiences are available.
The host/owner Luke is a very knowledgeable and engaging presenter.
In the case of vermouth he gives the history and shows that it is more than just Martini, Cinzano or a cocktail mixer.
I’d consider this an essential place to visit if you are a foodie or cultural visitor. Also be sure to support them but buying something you like, it is reasonably priced and likely you won’t be able to get at duty free or import (particularly US and UK)

Luke was amazing. Fun, cheeky, knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Must visit in you're into sherry or learning about Spanish wined

Extremely knowledgeable shopkeeper and a great wine selection. It was very easy to communicate and he spoke English for us.

Only deserves the highest praise! Great wines, at good prices. Try the wine tasting evenings aswell for a bit of healthy vino and banter! Only critique is the last tasting don’t have any cheese

Wide variety of Spanish wines/vermouths and extremely knowledgeable staff. The owner was very helpful in helping me pick out wines based on my preferences. Great for English speakers as well.
