Madrid & Darracot es la mejor tienda de vinos que he visitado en mucho tiempo, los dueños son dos personas maravillosas que atienden muy amablemente y enseñan al cliente ha degustar los vinos sin que seamos expertos.
La tienda en sí, es muy acogedora y tiene todos los vinos que quieras buscar.
Realizar la experiencia de la cata es recomendable 100x100 ya que aprendes y pasas un buen rato.

Mi pareja y yo reservamos una cata de vinos y nuestra sorpresa fue que al llegar al lugar dicha cata era en inglés. En ningún momento durante el proceso de la reserva se específico el idioma, por lo que dábamos por hecho que sería en castellano. Entendemos algo de inglés (lo básico para defendernos), pero no tenemos un vocabulario tan específico sobre vinos como para poder seguir la explicación de la cata correctamente. Se lo comunicamos a la chica que se encargaba de esa cata y nos dijo que no nos preocupasemos que iría traduciendo lo más importante al castellano. Nada de eso fue así. Un poco decepcionados por no haber podido disfrutar al máximo la experiencia.

This was one of the highlights of my trip. The group was amazing, the bottles were SO good and the host, Luke, was THE BEST and perfectly rounded off the experience as a great time! Like everyone said, just BOOK IT. You will not regret it:)

What an amazing night! Luke hosted a very relaxed, informative, and HILARIOUS wine tasting. Perfect crash course in Spanish wine with some delicious options. The shop has an incredible selection as well in which Luke and Roque are extremely knowledgeable. Can’t recommend this shop and their tasting experience enough

A great evening with an extremely knowledgeable host, Luke, in fact it was so good we came back the following evening for the sherry tasting. We didn't meet Roque as he was on holiday. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

Cata para gente que no conoce de vinos. Todos los vinos a degustar en la misma copa, no se saborea te invitaba beberlo todo. Muy simpático, pero el servicio regular. Más pendiente de la tienda que la cata. Precios altos.

Enjoyed a wine tasting here with my wife. It was an excellent experience. Afterwards even though the shop was closed they took some time to help us pick out some vermouths to purchase and recommended some bars to eat at afterwards.

Amazing shop, great SPANISH wine, fabulous owners.and they do regular live (and replay) online tasting sessions. Just look for “Madrid Darracott” on YouTube and subscribe. Roque, Luke, gracias!

The tasting is actually excellent. Luke is funny, witty and extremely knowledgeable. We had the premium tasting - wine and knowledge was excellent. Wish we had pre-asked about dietary requirements but otherwise, very happy ️

Bottom line: wide array of well curated wines at every price point. All fantastic.
Gluten line: thankfully, wine is gluten free.
Long line: we came here for a tasting with Roque. We got lucky and it was just us two with him! It was definitely much more in depth this way, and as avid oenophiles we used this experience to really expand our knowledge of Spanish wine. We ended up going back multiple times to buy wine and now Honoro Vera (pictured) is always in stock at home. Would definitely recommend.

Me encanta la selección de vinos tan cuidada que tienen y su trato cálido y personal (en español y en inglés). Los dueños saben mucho de vinos y lo demuestran en las divertidas catas que organizan en su precioso local en pleno barrio de La Latina. Y gracias a la tienda online pude regalar vinos especiales a amigos que viven en otras ciudades.

Absolutely fantastic. Wine tasting was great and one and inexpensive. They are funny and have great personalities. I highly recommend to anyone interested in wine to check it out

Muy buena tienda de vinos con una selección muy variada tanto en calidad como en precio, además tenéis que probar su selección de vermut fantástica, además realizan catas todos los días y os recomiendo este albariño envejecido un año en barrica, no os lo perdáis fantástico. Un sitio muy recomendable.

What's a wine lover anxious to learn what to buy (and drink) to do? ! Enter Luke Darracott. This guy knows so much about wine; he loves the stuff, and it shows. He'll ask you what you like and suggest new options, describe the regions/places where they are grown, and provide a little story for each bottle. They offer three wine tasting daily; and an evening wine tasting is a perfect way to begin your night! We did an evening wine tasting with Luke, which included tasting, learning, and laughing.

Why 5 stars? Great selections. Exceptional service. Always something new to learn. Most importantly, there will always be occasions for someone's house wine, but remember - Life's too short to drink average wine.

I really wanted to learn more about Spanish wines! This tasting and 90 minute education was perfect. Luke was fun, engaging, and smart. My husband and I really enjoyed it. The perfect place to learn more about Spanish red and white wine. We’ve been to Napa and other places, and this was great because the tasting and knowledge was specific to Spain. Plus, you can buy amazing tasting bottles that are way less expensive than what we are used to paying in the states. Thanks Luke! We enjoyed our tasting and time at your beautiful shop. Just had the most FANTASTIC wine tasting with Roque Madrid (yes, that's his surname) of Madrid and Darracott wines fame. Roque is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all things wine, and especially those of the Spanish varieties. He presented wines to us without being in any way condescending and we learned loads about Spanish wine, wine in general, and a little about Rogue too. Thank you for a lovely evening Rogue. Can´t recommend this place enough. This is the best winetasting you´ll get in Madrid, underlined by the fact we have been there three times in a row. Great and tasty wines. Luke and Rouqe are very knowledagble about wine but are also able to create an easy and fun atmosphere were me and my boyfriend became genuially interested in wine as a craft.
