Starbucks, Madrid

Muy pocas veces me han atendido tan mal en una cafetería como en este Starbucks tan sucio -incluyendo los baños- y con el Jazz tan atronador como en un tugurio de Harlem de los años 40.

Es la primera vez en un establecimiento de esta cadena que, preguntándome el nombre al cobrarme la bebida, cosa para la que ya tuve una mala atención, luego no lo dicen en alto cuando está preparada. Es decir: TUVE QUE COGER YO MI BEBIDA DEL MOSTRADOR BUSCÁNDOLA ENTRE LAS DEMÁS. Cuando se lo advertí a la camarera, se disculpó de manera burlona, recibiendo otra mala respuesta por mi parte.

Visita totalmente desaconsejable tanto para turistas como para paisanos. Y ante los primeros me disculpo: no todos los madrileños somos así, ni mucho menos nuestras cafeterías.

Como siempre en Starbucks una maravilla y en este mucho mejor por la atención tán maravillosa que tienen. Recomendable cien por cien. Espacioso, con bonitas vistas (cuando acaben las obras de Sevilla mejores) con zona de trabajo y otra para relajarse. Un gusto venir los domingos por la mañana a trabajar.

Hubo que repetir el pedido porque se habian confundido. El segundo tenia gusto a hielo y nos dijeron que " era así".

Starbucks normal y corriente. Suele estar bastante vacío cosa que se agradece para estar en el centro. Un poco lentos al servir.

I read in other reviews that there is plenty of room to sit in this Starbucks location. Haha it is so true, but now I know why. Because all of local people know what is going on and for sure avoid this Starbucks. You should avoid it, too if you want to keep your wallet. If you go just remember to be very careful in this store. This Starbucks is under the pickpocketers watch. I'm 99.99% sure i was robbed in this location on March 19th 2019.
But the most sad is that I was refused to be able to watch the cameras. Its unbelivable, for what reason they have a few cameras if they cannot show it and review them in the case of this kind of emergency, it looks like they support the robbers and protect them instead of protecting CUSTOMERS! IT'S SUCH A SHAME THAT THIS KIND OF THINGS HAPPENING IN THE FAMOUS FRANCHISE LIKE STARBUCKS AND THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING TO CURB THE CRIME (and I see now the reviews from other clients, who did experience the same in this location)! I work at the bar in the USA and if the client has this kind of accidents we help him/her right away watching the cameras immediately and in a lot of cases we were able to still catch the criminals. Over there nobody cared! I did talk to a few employees but everybody told me that looking at the cameras was impossible and I'm wasting my time. All of my tries and hopes were denied. I had the wallet in Starbucks, just left the store and crossed the street (30secs walk) and it was gone. I'm sure it would be very helpful if i could have review the cameras becuase after analyzing the whole scenery i think i know who might have done it! A kid! Moreover i think they did have a guy sitting there on the computer watching clients and calling the thieves to come and robe! I also believe that most of the employees must know them since they probably prey there everyday! But nobody does anything about it in such a famous store like STARBUCKS, THIS LOCATION IS A DISGRACE FOR THE ENTIRE Starbucks CHAIN!
And just be cautious about pickpocketing in major cities in Spain! It still bugs me, wht we sw and experience there. You do have robbers almost on every corner! And the line to leave the robbery report was over 3h long, so it gives you an idea what is going on there.

Hey I know you are going to buy the coffee anyway and my ranking won’t be a big deal so I’m giving one star for this Starbucks. Seriously i don’t mind listening to some original soundtrack music at all. But please. The star war, ghostbusters and planet terror? It’s pretty like “we don’t want you to stay long, get your coffee and go” sign for me. Music is too personal to judge but in a coffee place im expecting some thrilling jazz music.again it’s too personal. One more thing, this is the ONLY Starbucks in all that I’ve ever been refused to give me a mug of hot water for free as I might use the water and put my own tea bag. Drinking hot water solo can be charged in a Starbucks.kinda shocked that I forgot to tell him that half hot half cold water could work too.shame. Not a good experience.

Acabo de ir a por un Pumkin Spice Latte ya que me apetecía darme un capricho dulce de buena mañana, lo he pedido tamaño Short con leche de soja y sin nata, pero no he obtenido mi ticket ya que el chico rubio que me ha atendido se ha ofrecido muy amablemente a tirármelo directamente y he aceptado (fallo mío). Para mi sorpresa me han cobrado el café con el extra de second bean sin ofrecérmelo, ósea de forma automática e incluso lo ha marcado en el vaso, cosa poco inteligente por su parte ya que quería café espresso y no añadirle 0'40€ a mi bebida.
ESTA FORMA DE VENTA NO ES SURGERIDA, SINO ENGAÑOSA.
No volveré a este Starbucks.
