I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful and efficient hotel. The staff were so warm and helpful, and the breakfasts delicious every other day. I'll never forget my time here.

El hotel está perfectamente ubicado enfrente de la Plaza de Callao, las habitaciones están reformadas, en mi caso estuvimos en una habitación con salón independiente, enorme, y muy cómoda, iba con un bebé y pusieron cuna como pedí, el servicio de limpieza es de 10, y el personal en general muy atento y un encanto. El desayuno está genial, hay de todo.
He ido varias veces antes del cambio de marca, ahora sin duda, en mis visitas a Madrid seguiré alojándome allí.

I stayed 3 nights (Gran Via view room) in this hotel in October, definitely not worth the money!

Let's start from the beginning.
This was my first ever Melia hotel. I sent 3 emails to this hotel 2 weeks before my arrival to ask for usable facility questions, as I was not sure about the gym and other facility operations due to covid restriction. No reply at all. When I arrived in the hotel, I asked the receptionist, no explanation. They seemed to have "don't care and no customer service attitude".

When I checked in and checked out, not like the other hotels, no greetings, they never said "welcome", or asked how was the stay. Again, "don't care" attitude. The receptionists were a bunch of young kids, they look like no experience. I am quite surprised a new hotel don't have any experienced staff to lead the team.

Furthermore, if you expect some usual amenities in your room, please lower your expectation. First of all, it seems they don't have CCTV throughout the hotel! This new hotel is in such central busy location, I was surprised by the factor that they didn't install CCTV!
Moreover, they didn't have toilet brush, no tissue, no tea bags/instant coffee, no kettle and mug. If you request a kettle from them, they would ask you to pay more to stay in the more expensive "suite" room. Ridiculous!

The WIFI was bad, as their instruction and TV guidance all guide you to connect with the main WIFI route, however, that couldn't work. I struggled a lot. Then I called the reception to ask for help, no one answered the call. I had to go back to the reception floor to ask for solution, they just told me actually I should connect to another WIFI with password, but no one ever informed me beforehand.

One night I back to hotel after 00: 10 at midnight, the downstairs entrance door was locked, and the security staff was disappeared. There was no doorbell at all. Soon 4 other guests also got back, we felt helpless. We kept calling the upstairs reception, no one ever answered the call. We waited about 15 minutes, finally someone from upstairs reception came down to open the ground floor entrance door, and no "sorry", no apology.

Finally, it was the very confusing rooftop bar opening hours. In reality, it is totally different on their website / room TV guidance / hotel staff guidance.

I have to say, although this is a new hotel, but it is definitely not luxury, very basic room is decor. For the amount of money, they charged per night in off season in October, not worth it! You can find lots other better value and better service hotels in central Madrid. Plus, the poor customer service, not welcoming, a bit like shallow “online influencer” arrogant attitude, I was very disappointing.

Hotel moderno en plena gran vía de Madrid. Vistas espectaculares y camas muy cómodas. Totalmente recomendable

Fantàstic! El personal molt amable, tan a la benvinguda de planta baixa, el Carlos ens va rebre molt amablement, com a la recepció de la 7a planta. L' habitació molt neta i amb totes les comoditats. Amb vistes a la Gran Via. Ubicació de 10. A un pas de tot.
100% recomanable.

Muy buena restauración, lástima que a determinadas horas, desde las habitaciones que dan al patio interior, tienen que aguantar la música del bar de la terraza.

Modern hotel with unbeatable location in Gran Via. Fantastic service and great food (the best Foi gras I've tried in a long time). They have a popular and beautiful Terraza, a bar on the 8th floor which opens to the public, so I suggest making reservations on weekends. The rooms are big enough and beds were very comfortable, but the problem was that they don't have air-conditioning, not that we needed it because it was November, but because of the noise from the street. So you have 2 choices; suffocate in silence or be cool with lots of noise. It does get quiet at around 1 or 2: 00 a.m, but bring your ear plugs. Breakfast is an excellent buffet with anything you want, from omelettes and hot dishes to salmon, pastries, cereals and Cava!

The hotel is well located, classy, clean and the guys on reception are doing great job! The service is impeccable and they solve all problems with ease.

Hotel recién renovado, me ha encantado su estilo y diseño pero lo mejor es que he dormido como hacía tiempo no dormía de bien en un hotel

Magnífico Hotel urbano en plena capital. Completamente nuevo, fantástica terraza donde disfrutar de una buena tarde.

Dan preferencia a los que no son huéspedes para usar los ascensores para subir al bar de la azotea perjudicando a los huéspedes que deben darse por vencidos y subir por las escaleras.
Es un pésimo trato. Estuve dos veces allí y siguen con ese criterio. Es una vergüenza.

Habitacions renovades, atenció molt bona, esmorzar calent i fred, molt bo, cualitat Meliá. I la situació perfecte

Nos encantó todo! Las vistas a la gran vía son increíbles, las instalaciones muy lindas, las habitaciones grandes y confortables, pero lo mejor de todo el personal. Carlos por la mañana en la entrada que chico más guapo y atento, las chicas de la recepción hicieron sentir a Santiago mi nieto muy consentido. Gracias por el obsequio de cumpleaños!

Llegamos ayer y maravilloso. Su personal mejor no puede ser. La habitación que es como un estudio espectacular con una terraza y unas vistas a la gran via geniales, la verdad que estamos encantados.

La ubicación del hotel, la amabilidad del personal de 10, la limpieza, la comodidad de la habitación, la terraza con Dj donde tomar una copa por la noche, todo de 10, volveremos a Madrid y a este hotel!

Un muy buen hotel, con todas las comodidades. Terraza espectacular. Precios bebidas un poco elevados.
