Très satisfaite des prestations, véhicule propre et moderne. Suite à un petit souci technique avec la voiture celle-ci nous a été changée dans la journée sans discussion. Je recommande à tous Centauro.

Terrible service! NEVER AGAIN! NOT RECOMMENDED!
We rented a car online, when we picked up the keys their employee was in hurry. I asked where should we leave the car. He said: "Anywhere we want" He didn't mention that we should not to park in the public area. When we arrived to the airport, We left the car on A221 (public area). On their reception they said we will be charged with extra 50€ + price of the parking ticket. I was trying to go to their place, we paid the public parking ticket but gate didn't want to open. We didn't have more time to spend there.

First time using Centauro. Very efficient collection process. Fast with no hard sell. Car was good. Return process was equally efficient and received the fuel deposit refund back within 24 hours. I would definitely use Centauro again.

I am just astonished on how expensive it is to rent a car in September 2021. We have been using Centauro for quite a few years and was about to book again. The price goes up every day, I would say it increases a few times a day. To rent a basic car for 9 days is nearly EUR1,000! A few years ago I left a review and gave the company 5 star. However, Centauro became so greedy this year, time to rate again Won't be using ever again! I hope all your customers will switch to different providers

Huijariyhtiö-Scam organization. Never rent cars from there. I was charged a refueling fee of € 80 but the money has not been refunded even though I refueled the tank full. At first they said the money will be returned in 7-14 days, but I have not received anything. I think they always do this and no one can do anything. Please good people stop rent cars from this scam organization.

We are really upset
We didnt get our caution back and after weeks asking and Emails they told me that we damaged the car and the repair costs exactly the same amount like the caution was- really? Thiefs!
We did NOT damage the car at all and its ridiculous that nobody told us that they found anything damaged. At first they told us caution comes back in some weeks, two months later suprisingly there was a damage at the car. Be serious!

Nous avons réservé une voiture sur internet et voulu payer une fois arrivés au guichet à l’aéroport (car pendant ce temps de Covid nous ne sommes pas sûr de partir). Réservation pour 189€ sans assurance pour une semaine, arrivés sur place par magie le prix a augmenté de 243€! La raison? Le soit disant « plein de l’essence ». En règle générale, quand vous payer en avance sur internet, vous ne payer pas un surplus en arrivant! Pourquoi dans ce cas oui?
Nous avons voulu payer car nous avons besoin d’une voiture, et malheureusement la carte du conducteur n’était pas passer pour la caution. J’ai ainsi voulu mettre ma carte, mais non! Impossible! Il faut que ce soit la carte du conducteur rien d’autre. On nous demande alors de payer 161€ pour une soit disant « assurance ». On refuse!

Bref.entreprise à fuir. Ils gonflent les prix une fois arrivés à l’aéroport! Et si votre carte ne marche pas, impossible d’en utiliser une autre.
Ce n’est pas la première fois que nous avons une mauvais experience (une fois nous avons dû payer 400€ de caution pour une césure cassée alors qu’elle était déjà cassée avant qu’on prenne le véhicule.  )

Terrible! I took a rent book number ER21008223 the company had to refund me the deposit difference 208euro! But nothing was returned! That was in 21.01.2021 and still I didn’t receive! I want the Management to see this message and solve as soon as possible! Please solve it and contact with me +34 631 593 262

Chantage à la carte de credit=> pas de carte notée CREDIT dessus et c'est l'assurance qui double ou triple votre tarif qui vous tombe dessus sinon pas de véhicule. Cela ne devrait plus exister mais cela existe sans scrupules à Alicante en tout cas. 300€ de budget vacances qui s'envole pour 10j de location. Prévoyez le. Depuis cette expérience, je commande une carte de crédit chaque année pour une utilisation de 10-15j. Résiliation dès mon retour pour ne pas être débité sans préavis. Pas écolo mais pas le choix.

No lo recomiendo en absoluto. No duden en alquilar con cualquier otra compañía antes que con ellos. Renté un coche, quise extender mi alquiler a unas horas extras (ni siquiera un día mas), el personal del aeropuerto de Alicante me aconseja, que me vaya tranquilo y que lo devuelva una horas tardes que tendrá un valor según sistema, de entre 20€ y 30€. Cuando llegó a devolver el coche en estado impecable, la persona que lo recepciona, de una pésima manera y malos modales me dice que el valor extra es de 51,50€ (el doble de lo que me habían informado antes), sin otra alternativa, lo pago. Me dice que el dinero del combustible pagado por anticipado me lo devolverán en las próximas 48hs, obviamente nunca me lo devolvieron y me argumentan que el valor real de 10hs extras de alquiler es de 104,50€ (Los 51,50€ + 53€ del combustible). En fin, alquilé un coche 7 días por 34€ y 10 horas extras me costaron mas del triple. No solamente que no volveré a rentar un coche aquí, si no que recomiendo que no alquilen bajo ningún concepto con ellos. Califico con 1 estrella, porque no me deja poner 0, sino con gusto y con razón lo haría.

So far so good very helpful on pickup time will tell when we return the car.

Just returned the car after 2 weeks. Very helpful corteous and efficient staff. Finally a car hire company who offers an honest service (no stitch ups like many other hire companies.) would definitely recommend on this experience.

Me han intentado hacer pagar un daño pre-existente (y apenas imperceptible) que en la recogida se negaron a marcar pese a haberlo señalado (porque era demasiado pequeño, en teoría). Menos mal que hice una foto! La señorita en el aeropuerto de Alicante sabía de antemano donde estaban los daños no marcados y dónde mirar, al mostrarle la foto ni la ha prestado atención, van a timar! Ladrones! El daño en cuestión en realidad era un tapacubos de llanta un poco desgastado (ver foto), ni siquiera era un daño real. Alguien ve un daño en ese tapacubos? He sido cliente suyo varias veces e intentaba alquilar preferentemente con su compañía aún siendo más cara dado que la tenía por honesta. Pero hoy han perdido un cliente. Esto no me ha pasado ni con Goldcar! Hasta nunca! La fecha y hora del intento de fraude por parte de su compañía ha sido el 19/12 a las 12: 15 en el aeropuerto de Alicante. Consejo a clientes: Eviten esta compañía, y si aún así deciden alquilar, hagan fotos a absolutamente todo aunque les digan que los daños son pequeños y no los marcan (carrocería, especial atención a ruedas y bajos!). Cuidado con estos ladrones!

Parcel shelf Scam! (Cover of rear compartment) Got charged EUR 220, - without receiving any info/email. After contacting them they told me the parcel shelf was missing. Of course it has never been there but this is not something you check when you receive the car. Pretty smart scam I would say. Avoid is my advise! Or record outside AND INSIDE when picking up the car.

I rented from Centauro several times. In general everything was great, cars were new and drove great, pretty cheap rental and no problems at the drop off. However, I arrived at their counter at 23: 40 to find a large queue. It took 40-50 mins of waiting and they secretly charged me for out of hours pickup (40 eur if you pick up after midnight). They said it was 120 eur for fuel deposit, and only checking the paperwork I saw that it was 80 eur fuel deposit + 40 eur late pickup, which was put under a single payment. And it was their inability to process people in the queue on time.

I would like to sincerely express my utter frustration and disappointment about the fact that 225 euro were deducted from my deposit for a non-existent scratch, quite "visible" from the picture. I was present during the company employee inspection and he outrageously lied that there was, according to him, a 3 cm scratch. Please also bear in mind that when I was picking up the car I didn't have the chance to thoroughly go through the car - after all I had no torch, nor a magnifying glass at hand, not to mention that no employee of yours was present to whom I would have been able to express any claims.

Do you think that deducting sums from the deposit in this way is a good business practice?

I recently rented a car here. They have hidden costs in the contract. First of all they will do everything they can to have you sign up for a very expensive (21euro/day) insurance, while we already had full coverage via the site on which we rented. Second there are hidden costs in the fuel policy also kosting 25 euro. So initially you think you have an affordable car, but quite soon you see your initial costs double.
The lady was nice but the guy checking the car was very very unkind.
I would recommend to book somewhere else and pay a bit more, it will save you lots of money when you return the car!

I would not recommended their service at Alicante airport especially off season. As I have purchased my own excess protection I kindly refused their insurance as it would be much more expensive. Lady who serviced us at the check out desk were so angry for this (not the best first impression of the company)
When we got to the car, I did inspection as good as possible due dim light at their car park. Noted some minor scraches but barely visible.
After that off we went.

And then at the return.

In my case at drop off guy come and checked just certain spots and straight away found small scrache under front bumper lip.
Note that you will have to pick up and drop off car at very dim light therefore all minor scraches is impossible to see. They charged me 225 euros. So that leads me to think they know damage previously.
So.if you get car off season for 30 euros without their expensive cover on two weeks they will try to rip you off where possible.

Centauro - im sure you read these reviews. If you refere me to call your customer service then make sure they return my hard earned money back. I treat your property with great respect but what you did instead?

Wrote email to customer service as suggested. Auto-replay come back saying someone will respond within 10 days. Guess what.zero response.
