The Banana Tree Thai Restaurant, Alicante

Ambiente bueno, camareros un tanto bordes, la que creo que es la dueña que es la unica asiatica muy maja.la comida pura basura, he pedido pollo agridulce y es un intento entre pollo y pescado (porque hay dudas de que es por el sabor) con las verduras crudas y la salsa aparte, le ha faltado tomate para ser ensalada de "algo", por no saber que es lo rebozado, los langostinos fritos con salsa cuando no debe de llevar y saben a todo menos langostinos.los tallarines mejor ni probarlos, siento la reseña, no suelo poner reseñas asi pero toda la comida directa a la basura por 30 cómodos euros. Que por cierto corrieron en traer la cuenta antes que la comida, que incomodidad! Ni que me vaya a ir sin pagar! No volveré.

Llevo mucho tiempo yendo a este restaurante. Las porciones se han hecho más pequeñas, arroz con camarones sin camarones, pollo con verduras sin verduras (solo cebolla).

¡Me encanta este lugar! Visitamos dos veces durante nuestras vacaciones en agosto. Hermoso restaurante, entretenimiento ocasional también. ¡A nuestra hija adolescente le encanta la comida tailandesa/asiática y comentó que nunca había visto tantas opciones! Era significativamente más barato comer aquí con una familia de 3 personas, en comparación con donde nos quedamos unos meses antes en Ibiza. ¡Tenemos planes de regresar! Acabo de descubrir que se ha abierto un restaurante en la plaza de toros de Birmingham, así que pronto también lo visitaremos.

Personal muy amable y acogedor. La comida estuvo increíble, los cuatro del grupo coincidieron en que fue una gran experiencia.

Sadly this place has gone down hill? Good points are service is very good and thats about it, Presentation of food was not good nothing like the pictures on the web? Plates were a mixed match of odd styles and colours nothing matched Ordered all Thai food? Their idea of Thai Food is to load everything with chilly other than that it was tasteless, Ordered a side order of Noodles ended up with Long strands of Spaghetti? Last year i gave it 5 stars this year its 1 star only because of the staff service

Una decoración muy especial que me da un toque exótico muy auténtico.
La comida es buena y la atención excelente. Muy recomendable para comer en familia.

Entrega rápida pero comida pésima. Pad Thai con salsa de tomate? Hola? En la vida he visto eso. Ademas de venir pobres de ingredientes, solo 4 gambas y 2 ajos partidos por la mitad. Ni verdura ni brotes de soja, nada de nada. Las fotos no se corresponden con la realidad. Rollos de pato dice que son 3 UNIDADES, pues es UNA UNIDAD PARTIDA EN TRES TROZOS! Lo único que se salva un poco es el pollo tailandés con salsa agridulce. Horrible experiencia y 27.80€ tirados a la basura. No vuelvo ni aunque me inviten!

Una pena que la comida bastante buena, pase a un segundo plano por el pésimo servicio. Al pagar con tarjeta se niega a darme la copia. Finalmente y ante mi insistencia me la da. Con muy mala cara por su parte. Que alguien la diga que la copia emitida por la máquina es un derecho del cliente. No volveré

Two staff lovely one very sour.ribs lukewarm and very fatty.house red not great but got €17 bottle, which is actually a Tempranillo and was yummy.overall food yummy, great having pics, huge menu, amazing decor, definitely visit the loo.fabulous spot, must see.

La decoración e iluminación del restaurante están muy bien conseguidas, quizá es lo que más destaca al entrar al establecimiento, esa mezcla de colores y sombras que te transporta a otro lugar. Comida muy buena y de calidad a precio razonable, los camareros te atienden siempre de la mejor manera y con mucha tranquilidad. Todo muy apacible.

Absolutely appalling service 8th of June. Just a starter in 2 hours. No attention paid to us and no sorry. Paid 34e for drinks and starters and left. This happened once before and didn't go back for two years. Sad as look lovely and food great but poor poor service. Not enough staff to cope with the size. Sort yourselves out as we come a fair bit but seems holiday makers get the attention.

It's like a Thais museum' you can't stop taking photos good food, I can only guess what its like all lit up at night

Amazing place! The food is fantastic with a wide range of choices at a very reasonable cost. The decor is incredible and the staff are very friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our night here.

Had dinner in this restaurant last night when I came in I thought the place was a really lovely the staff seemed nice looked like it was going to be a good night
That was till there entertainment started the place turned in Chaos it was right beside us Getting blasted With the birdy song and the Macarena and just terrible songs for the entire time all the orders were wrong when you got them you couldn’t get a a drink cause no one could hear anything and then had the pleasure of paying €220 for it
I left the place with a headache and thirsty I couldn’t get out of there quick enough, on a positive note the food was nice when you got it
The place is much to small for that type of entertainment and way to expensive

Had a Fab meal there thursday night without making a booking for 5 people, arrived tonight table for 2, told me the place was fully booked even though there was a lot of tables free. Told me i should of made a reservation. Call back in 1hour. Not likely that all those tables would be occupied in One hour. Very disappointed

The Restaurant is not accessible for wheelchairs, since the ramps gradient is more than 100%. Tables are not high enough for wheelchairs. Totally unacceptable
The quality of the food is getting worse.
The staff is partly unfriendly and unproperly dressed.

Food was excellent however was very disappointed that were told the menu of the day was not available on a Saturday (despite the menu saying it was) and were then charged for two items that we hadn't had. Bill was corrected but no hint of an apology. Won't be back.
