The Banana Tree Thai Restaurant, Alicante

You have to pay for Chupitos. Not good practice. Staff great. But now more expensive. Not in hurry back.

We have visited many, many times over the years and enjoyed the food and atmosphere but this time we were so disappointed. We had taken friends who had never experienced the Saturday 'cabaret act'. Our food was cold, when we complained they put it on a sizzling platter which was not appropriate for one of the sauces and it was totally burnt and inedible. We could actually see the kitchen and observed the cooked food left on the side for a ridiculous length of time waiting to be served thus going cold. The poor staff were run ragged and literally had to run from table to table. If more staff were employed especially on a busy Saturday, food would maybe arrive on time. There were only four waiter/waitresses serving a packed restaurant. What a shame but I will not be rushing back again

Bonne expérience Thaï. Décor pas trop kitch. Cocktails exotiques a essayer. Carte avec photos.comme chez les Grecs. Personnel super attentif. Plats de qualité. Prix un peu au dessus de la moyenne.mais succès oblige. Piste de danse le samedi.

Food very good but music very very loud on Thursday night. With friends but had to leave after main course. Couldnt have a conversation.
