Very responsive and supportive staff. Before coming to school i signed up on Sunday and started the next day and they managed to book me an apartment I had the best 3 weeks at Camino school. Teachers are always supportive and classes are engaging. Also they have the onsite apartment which was great suites for me I would for sure come back.

The accommodations are lovely and comfortable and have everything you might need, the cleaning service is really good and the location is excellent, it’s near to a metro stop and it just takes 5 minutes by walk to get to Catalunya square and the Rambla.
The Spanish lessons are very efficient and they really push you with trying the language, and also the teachers are always up to makes jokes and keep the lesson exciting, prefering group works and games to simple Spanish lesson. It’s totally different from the school way of teaching that we’re used to.
The afternoon activities are very well planned too and interesting, as the guide will tell you the history of the places visited and those activities are also a perfect occasion to meet the other students from literally all over the world.
Barcelona does its part too as its a wonderful city with a ton of things to visit and do all day and night long, so I think it’s really a perfect city to do a study-vacancy and learn a new language.

Just commited to another year in Spain as I'm absolutely loving my time at Camino Barcelona and everything that Spain has to offer! Everyone is always so welcoming and Camino really encourages you to excel in Spanish! I have enjoyed meeting so many new people and joining in with the experiences that Camino has to offer! No matter how much you may struggle in class, the teachers will always do their best to help you understand and make you feel comfortable in the school! Loving my journey at Camino and looking forward to the following year after a fab summer!

Scuola meravigliosa!

I had my first Spanish lessons in Camino Barcelona and I would not have imagined learning so many things in a short time, since I was a beginner. I also really enjoyed the activities in the afternoon with the other students and teachers ¡Gracias por todo!

Please READ CAREFULLY before you'll choose this school.
Those, who wrote positive reviews, probably managed to get to Spain and attend the classes.
I've paid for the intensive Spanish course in December, 2019. Because of my bad medical condition, I couldn't go to Spain and have been asking Camino Barcelona to refund my money since February 2020 (before pandemic).

I wrote and called them infinite times, telling that I need my OWN money back for medical treatments and operation. They just blocked my number. They have never responded to me untill I asked several close people to call them directly from different numbers and ask for refund. 7 months later, I managed to get just one third from the total amount I've paid. After that they just stopped replying to me.

As I see from the negative reviews, I'm lucky who got at least some money. And it's not normal. I'm just wondering.where are money of all people that you scammed? How such organizations as you can work in educational sector?

Edit: Most of the time the classes are very enjoyable. The after-class activities are also fun and you can meet other students there. But there are some things I didn't like. They say the classes have at most 10 people, but most of the time our class had around 13 people. Additionally, some students are assigned to higher classes than they should be, which can be very annoying when you work in groups/pairs.

I had a 3-months course at Camino and I really enjoyed it. The facilities of the classes are very good and have a great atmosphere to learn at. Also I had several teachers and all of them was the best. I reached a level I didn’t imagine and it was mostly thanks to the schools me it’s staff. RECOMMENDED

I did the intensive course at Camino Barcelona and I LOVED it. Before starting this course I expected it to be like my Spanish classes in school. However, it was so much better. The classes did not really feel like school because I enjoyed it so much whilst learning so much more. The teachers were really nice and enthusiastic which kept me motivated. Moreover, it was a nice experience to get to know students from all over the world. I would definitely recommend this school when you want to improve your spanish!

This is a great school. The teachers are great and the activities are great. I have taken classes in person and on line and I enjoy them both. I really like meeting the other students from all over the world. I enjoy the club de cine on line. We watch a movie in Spanish on our own, and then discuss it with others. I've attended 4 Spanish language schools, including another in Barcelona, and this is the best.

Excellent school! I'm a teacher myself and know good teaching. Oliver and Marie Jose were excellent! They kept the classes moving, never spoke a word of English, and helped us maximise our time speaking and listening. I didn't have time to see other teachers in action, but my guess is they all follow the same, well-planned methods: Introduce a topic or theme in a mini lesson, help students as they work in small groups or pairs to use the grammar and vocabulary of the lesson, and wrap up with a little homework. I highly recommend this school!

Camino Barcelona is the place where you will want to go back! The booking process is easy and clear, service is efficient and kindly. I have attended the super intensive A1 beginner course and I could not be happier with the lessons, the organisation and with the teachers. During the lessons we got to work in different pairs and groups, and there were a lot of speaking activities which were not only useful, but also much fun. The course moved quite quickly, we covered a lot of vocabulary and grammar in a short period of time, and we felt the progress. I have really enjoyed the roof terrace, the perfect place to relax after class and make new friends. Also, a lot of activities are proposed to the students who want to discover Barcelona and its history. Thanks to everybody at the school for the warm and friendly atmosphere, I’ve had an unforgettable time!

I went to Camino Barcelona in September 2018 to improve my Spanish and spend 4 weeks in my favorite city. I did some research and was then told by a friend who lives in Barcelona, that Camino Barcelona was the best school. Without a doubt, all my expectations were exceeded and I spent an incredible month in Barcelona.

The learning experience is quite unique: the classes are small (I never had more than 10 people in my classes), the interactive approach forces you to speak and actively participate. In fact, classes never get boring, because you only have the same teachers for one week, after which you are taught by another two. Since every teacher has a different approach, you’ll find that one week may be extremely effective and informative, while another week is slightly more laid back, but still challenging. With so many different levels, you will certainly be able to fit in. Additionally, classes are taught completely in Spanish, even when you have a question, the teacher explains the content in Spanish. This is only a little difficult at the beginning, but it makes you improve a lot faster! Definitely a big benefit!

I was there at the end of Summer, which means there was a great diversity of students. I believe in midsummer, the school is primarily filled with High School and University students. In September, there were still many students my age (18-20), but I was lucky to meet many other people who were much older and experienced. I am so glad to have made friends from many different countries, some of which I will most certainly visit in the future. The community at Camino is unmatched: no matter your age, race or history, you spend so much time with one another, learning together, exploring together and partying together. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly as well, they even go partying and on activities with the students. Overall, the community was extremely open and fun, right from the beginning.

The activities camino offers, especially the Copa de Bienvenida on Mondays, are mostly free, extremely entertaining and help you to improve on your Spanish further. The activities are great to meet even more people and make plans for your remaining time in Barcelona.

I lived with friends for the first two weeks, before moving into the on-site apartments at Camino. That was definitely a highlight, living with 3 other students. We cooked together, went out together and (sometimes) studied together.

Everything about my stay at Camino was amazing. For anyone who is young, energetic and still has no idea what to do after high school, I suggest you go in the Summer months. You’ll meet so many people, make great friends and improve your Spanish a lot. However, age is completely unimportant: you’ll make friends that are twice your age and you’ll not only improve on your Spanish, but you’ll also live a dream life. Beach every day, great restaurants, lots of sun, long, lively nights and many friendly faces.

With only one week in Barcelona, I was unsure how worthwhile studying a Spanish course would be.

I came to Camino with a decent level of Spanish already but was hoping to find a course to get back into it as I hadn't done any study for years. Studying with Camino was a truly fantastic experience. I thought the teachers were wonderful and loved that I had two different teachers so was able to experience very distinct teaching styles. I was able to deepen my knowledge of grammar, extend my vocabulary and also become more confident with my speaking. The classes were small, which meant there was no hiding! It was the perfect learning environment. The school offers a range of activities after class which really enhanced my experience.

My only feedback would be regarding administration. A small issue, but there were a couple of errors with my assigned classes and levels but a quick conversation with the reception staff resolved the problems I had. They were very receptive and helpful when I approached them with my concerns.

Overall, it was a great experience for me and I definitely recommend Camino if you're looking to learn some Spanish!

I have just returned from a 1 week combined course at Camino. Every member of staff was available to help me at any moment. In terms of teaching, I had a variety of teachers who all had stand-out qualities. This variation exposed me to a range of Spanish accents and backgrounds meaning my understanding of the language rapidly improved. Socially, Camino offers activities 7 days a week which means that you get to spend time with your classmates outside of school. I cannot recommend Camino Barcelona highly enough, a professional environment from top to bottom. I will certainly be returning in the future to continue to work on my Spanish!
