Hostel One Paralelo, Barcelona

¡El mejor albergue en el que me he alojado! Mi hermana y yo pasamos un tiempo increíble aquí. Las habitaciones y los baños están muy limpios y cuentan con todas las comodidades necesarias. Las camas son cómodas y la zona común muy acogedora. El personal fue increíblemente acogedor y amable (¡especialmente Ellis y Charlotte!). Nos prepararon deliciosas cenas vegetarianas todas las noches y nos llevaron de fiesta a bares y discotecas locales, así como a viajes diarios por la ciudad. Nos sentimos muy seguros al salir con el grupo del albergue, nos divertimos mucho e hicimos muchos amigos. No puedo recomendar este albergue lo suficiente a cualquiera que visite Barcelona. ¡Gracias Onefam!

Estuve alojado la noche del 24 de septiembre. Todo muy bien, las habitaciones y zonas comunes iguales o mejores que en demás establecimientos de este tipo; y además se organizan todo tipo de actividades sociales tanto dentro del hotel como fuera.

He estado en OneFam Batlló y OneFam Paralelo en Barcelona y ambos han sido mi mejor experiencia personal en un albergue hasta ahora.
Las camas son cómodas y me gustaron mucho las actividades diurnas y nocturnas para pasar tiempo con los voluntarios y otros huéspedes. ¡Conocí a tanta gente agradable, hice amigos y realmente pude disfrutar esta experiencia al máximo!
Recomendación 100%, ¡no te lo pierdas!

Solo me quedé una semana aquí, la segunda vez que me hospedo en este albergue desde 2020. La cultura del personal y los huéspedes es increíble, muy cálida, amable y acogedora. Hacen un trabajo increíble al crear un sentido de pertenencia para todos, y se puede ver que proviene del fuerte sentido de familia del personal. El albergue atrae a muchos huéspedes increíbles con los que puedes hacerte amigo fácilmente. Las cenas gratis todas las noches hacen que sea más fácil viajar con un presupuesto ajustado. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente si viaja solo o con un amigo y busca diversión en Barcelona.

Si estás aquí en los veranos de Barcelona y viajas solo, ¡este es el lugar para estar! Tiene aire acondicionado y créeme, cuando estás sudando como loco después de estar afuera y entras al albergue, se siente como el cielo. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas con buen espacio. Los anfitriones tienen eventos de días completos para ti, así que no te preocupes si no tienes nada planeado. ¡Gracias Eoin, Hanna, Luisa, Giulia, Michelle, Cam, Raenbow y Vanessa por dirigir las fiestas y la comida!

Me echaron por algo extremadamente insignificante: un miembro del personal estaba discutiendo conmigo sobre mis sentimientos sobre el consumo de alcohol y le dije que era demasiado joven para comprender las implicaciones de beber todos los días. Esta persona entonces se dio vuelta y me denunció diciendo que le estaba "faltando el respeto" por su edad. El gerente me hizo irme inmediatamente y ni siquiera me dejó quedarme el tiempo suficiente para reservar un nuevo lugar en mi teléfono. Afuera estaba lloviendo.

Editar: Genial, ahora recibí un correo electrónico que dice que estoy excluido de todos los albergues de OneFam. En serio, mi consejo es evitar a estas personas a menos que quieras arruinar tu viaje.

As a solo traveler, the sense of community, comfort, and family brought by this hostel was incredible.

With day activities around the city, family dinner, and games/nights out on the city, by the time I left, I’d made incredible friendships, experienced a wonderful city, and had an absolute blast with incredible people.

I recommend this place highly, loved my stay here<3

I stayed in a 6-person dorm room and had a wonderful time in Barcelona thanks to Hostel One! The staff was super friendly and helpful (Derek gave some particularly awesome recommendations on what to do around the city). In terms of facilities, the dorm rooms and bathrooms were always clean and never felt crowded. The hostel also organizes events during the day and night so even though I was traveling solo, I met some amazing friends through the hostel. I would definitely stay here or at another Hostel One my next time in Barcelona!

Solo Travelling can sometimes be daunting. For me this was the first time that I have travelled alone since COVID. On arrival Antia made me a part of the Hostel One family within ten minutes. I booked the trip on the Tuesday evening and arrived on Wednesday am with no plans. The events put on by the hostel allowed me to experience Barcelona with a bunch of awesome international friends. The Volunteers &staff created an incredible and unique experience. Milena piellea tour, Amelia unique and beautiful laugh. Anna's energy and Italian lessons, Shameless cool and collective attitude (also a Human GPS, The N6 comes after the N8) Eoin personable and professional hospitality skills. Irene's positivity despite recovering from being ill.

If you are traveling alone this is the spot to feel like a part of the family. The guest's are truly international and awesome. It is refreshing that after several years of pandemic we can all share a beer together no matter where we are from be it American, Korean, French, Russian and Ausy & Mexican.

I'll be back to Hostel One for sure, thanks for reminding how awesome Hostels are.

A great place for solo travelers. You get to meet wonderful people and connect with them.

They organize daily excursions to visit the city and see nice viewing spots of Barcelona. At night, they cook you free delicious meals. Drinking games are played. They provide you entrance to bars and clubs for free also.

Room and facilities: The bunk bed was comfy and the privacy curtain made it easier to share the room with 5 other people. The sanitary facilities / bathroom were all clean.

If you want a social hostel, this is the place to be! They are so personally involved in your trip that it makes you feel special. I didn't want to leave! If you love partying, look no where else - they know HOW TO PARTY!

Outstanding social experience. You can spend your whole trip with the hostel because they have activities around Barcelona day and night.

Always some kind of drama outside the hostel from drunken tourists to local pick pockets.

Seen two well known pick pockets chasing each other out of the hostel fighting and police arrived.

The culture that Hostel One Paralelo have created is so heart warming. This was my first time staying in a hostel and as a solo female traveller, I wanted to stay somewhere I thought I'd feel comfortable, so I chose this hostel based on other reviews. I'm so glad I did because the moment you step foot in the hostel, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the gang. The staff organise daily day and night activities which is a nice option to have. They host dinner nights which really adds to the family feel of the hostel and is a good time to meet other guests and have a laugh. They are so lovely, really do treat you so well and allow you to continue to use the facilities even after checking out which was soooo helpful and really took the pressure off my day (I had an awkward flight time). I felt super safe and would recommend to anyone! Thank you Hostel One Paralelo!

Best hostel in Barcelona! I was welcomed so graciously by all of the amazing staff, and the location was absolutely perfect. Super close to the metro as well as the neighborhood itself being adorable! Every single other gust I met was cool and super friendly, and I cannot recommend this hostel enough for other solo travelers. There is always something to do as well as someone to talk to at Hostel One Paralelo. Highly recommend!

I stayed in the hostel for a couple of days and had an amazing experience, the staff are extremely involved with the people, providing activities to do.

Every day there are 4 activities, some day activity (going to the beach, walking tour, etc) and then at night they prepare dinner or sangrias for all of us, we play a couple of drinking games and then go to a bar to later end the night in a club that we can enter for free with the staff.
Every day the activities, bars/clubs are different, so every night is different.
Aside from that, everyone is super social.

If you want to meet people and party (specially as a solo traveler), this hostel is your place.
You will have fun, you will have friends, you will have activities and you will have parties.

Bonus points that the beds have curtains so you have privacy when you sleep.
