Hostel One Paralelo, Barcelona

Barcelona is nice city, but I can't say it about this place. Staff was cool. On the other hand be careful, I paid almost 600 € for 2 nights in a tiny shared room. They sometime change the price for a night as they want. Big shame on the greedy and untrustworthy manager Alex Jones. I highly recommend you to avoid this problematic hostel.

Best hostel in Barcelona. Great community experience and superbly clean/well-run. The location was perfect distance to all major parts of the city and the neighborhood felt safe and energetic.

Absolutely loved this hostel! Close to metro station, private beds with curtains, donation based family dinner every night, and nightly games and outings. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and kind, as were the guests. Highly recommend this place!

Friendly and helpful crew. Interesting and polite clientele. Speaks multiple languages including English. Great food and company. I really enjoyed my stay.

I had a wonderful time at Hostel One! The vibes were amazing and the company we met there was second to none.

Hostel one is great because they cook dinner at night for the whole hostel and host free pub crawls at night.

Exceptional hosts, amazing guests, super clean and in a great location! Hostel One really went above and beyond in making sure I and everyone staying with them had memories to last a lifetime! I would recommend 1000% and will definitely be coming back in the future.

I had the Most amazing Time of my life There. Forget Tinder, you'll meet a lot of Nice people! There's organized activities, Every Nights, that Will help you to make yourself comfortable, even if you're shy! I know what im talking about, because i am usually!

The public transportations are close, the hostel is not on a busy street so its not too noisy.

The staff is more than awesome! Im actually sad i couldnt stay longer. A big thank you to Jo, Jeff, kasha and Miriam (i would thank the others too but i cant remember their names since i met so many people there)

The food that is served is healthy. It feels good to eat after a lot of tapas and Cheese in all the fantastic restaurants in Barcelona

Amazing hostel! Ive visited three hostels in Barcelona, and Hostel One Paralelo is by far the coziest and most traveler friendly hostel I've been too. The location is great, about a minute walk from Carrer de Blai (a really cute pedestrian street with a variety of restaurants and bars) and is five minutes away from the gothic quarter and about 10 minutes from the beach. The staff are amazing and make you feel like you are part of the family. If you have the chance to stay here: Do it! Every day there are organized activities and organized partying and the diner is included! The hostel one community come together every night so its really easy to meet other travelers.

Gente dinámica que entra y sale este es vuestro lugar. No dudéis si vais a Barcelona y buscáis un hostal bien de precio en pasar por aquí, ambiente relajado de convivencia buena y sus empleados son un encanto además de ser baratisimo! Puedes ir a tu rollo o unirte a la gente del hostal que siempre tienen algo preparado. Limpisimo y por lo que vi recién reformado. Esta cerca de todo. Los empleados más majos imposible espero que se les reconozca. Me fui encantadisimo y volveré! Un saludo y no cambiéis!

Truly the most friendly hostel I've ever been to! As a solo traveler it was so nice that they created such an environment. Also the facilities were better than plenty of hotels.

Great hostel for young adults. Social activities everyday including free supper (by donation) and a trip to a bar and club.

I had a nice stay! Staff was friendly, professional and cheerful all the time. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is traveling.it made my stay in Barcelona a good experience.

One of the best hostel experiences I have had. The staffs really goes above and beyond to make everyone feels welcome. Free dinner every night is a great opportunity to meet people. The room is a bit crowded but the beds are very spacious. I would definitely come back whenever I am in Barcelona.

Had a great experience! Staff was lovely and the room was comfortable and had enough space with a good shower and toilet. Breakfast was pretty good and costs 3€ for all you can eat (tortilla, meats, hard boiled eggs, toast, fruit and coffee).

Looks like they had good cultural events and group dinners and activities but I didn't get to participate due to prior commitments.
