Hostel One Paralelo, Barcelona

The whole staff was amazing from the managers to the volunteers. They have plenty of stuff to do every day and night and many people to do it with! If you are traveling solo or a small group in Barcelona I definitely recommend!

Amazing stay at hostel one paralelo. The volunteers really make an effort to interact with guests and ensure they have a good stay - Jan, Nathan, Daniel and Caroline are especially great. The rooms offer a good amount of privacy. There’s also a lot of opportunities to socialize with other travelers. I would recommend this to any solo traveler looking for a place to stay in Barcelona.

Out all the hostels I have stayed in Barcelona, One Paralelo is hands down my favorite. The staff are great and make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. It is easy to socialise and meet fellow travellers, the communal laid-back atmosphere, daily events, fun evenings out on the town, free dinners, the rooms are comfortable, the facilities are clean, the location is easily accesible; Everything a good hostel aspires to be. It is a must do if you want to have fun in Barcelona. 10/10. All that is left to do is enjoy your stay

Hostel One Paralelo is in a seriously ugly area of Barcelona - nothing around it - and the area is NOT pretty. St. Christopher's Inn is where you want to go if you're under 35.10 EUR dorm beds, amazing in-house bar, bar is packed every night so lots of social engagement, fuse ball table, free beer pong, free breakfast. Walking tour and excellent biking tour leaves everyday from St. Christopher's Inn - which is right next to Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter. Hostel One Paralelo is 3 KM from Las Ramblas. Hostel One Sants - you may as well be in another city.

Amazing - friendly staff, great events through the day, likeminded guests, very fair prices and very clean facilities!

To the owner of the hostel: I hope you realise how lucky you are to have the staff and volunteers you do at this hostel

Great beds, great showers, clean. The dinner is perfect to meet everyone properly and then the staff put in huge effort for the rest of the nights entertainment with some pre-drinks at the hostel into a night out at bars.

Got covid from the staff. I then faced some of the worst discrimination I have ever experienced in my life. Also from the staff.

So much fun. Coziest hostel. I usually have trouble sleeping but I slept like a baby here. Every night everyone goes out together and it’s lots of fun met interesting people each time

Beat hostel ever! So fun and welcoming. Feels immediately like family. Conrad was the beat and made us feel so comfortable and at home!

This small hostel truly creates a family vibe just within a few nights of partying and hanging out together. The staff are incredible and become an organic part of the group. There's an activity every night and sometimes day activities - so you'll never be bored:)

I wanna give a special mention to staff members Carlos & Joe who were helpful and just amazing human beings, great dance moves as well ;)

I came to the hostel and immediately felt like a part of the group and after a few days like a part of a family. The people there are so kind, warm and love to help you. They plan activities for every day and everyone is welcome to join. I had a lof of fun with people all around the world. It was voted Nr. 1 Hostel in Spain for a reason.

Great hostel if you wanna meet people, especially traveling solo. There’s a group activity every day and people come together every night for drinks in the common area. It’s a very party forward hostel, but while still respecting the people of the barrio. Some weirdo brought a karaoke mic one night and sang Amy Winehouse by himself which was a little cringey but other than that every night was a blast. Special shout-out to Jack and Tyler, 2 best hostel staff I’ve ever encountered. 5 stars

Best place to stay in Barcelona. People are very social and polite, this place really attracts the nicest people. The staff is not only helpful but also very committed in making your stay a good experience. A lot of events are arranged together with the other hostels og the same company. 10/10 would recommend. Same goes for the Rambla one

I've stay only at Hostel one's this by far is the best. I would reccomend every day twice on Sunday. Staff fun and knowledgeable. Super clean. Everything you want to be in a hostel. Here has it.

I had an excellent experience at the hostel. I totally recommend this place. The staff is very helpful, and in the afternoon they prepared a nice dinner for everyone and after they have some games for the people. It is a very nice place also to meet new people and to make better experience in barcelona:)

What a fun, fun hostel with friendly staff and free organized group meals every night. Would recommend to every solo traveller.

I haven't been at the hostel yet, but I've been in contact with them via email for a blog article. And what I can say is that they're super friendly and helpful! Can't wait to see the hostel live!

Wow! I am shocked at how RUDE the guy working here is! Bad vibes with absolutely no manners, not a way to run a business.dont bother staying here, honestly a waste of time!

The best hostel i have ever been to! The staff is very helpful, they organize fun activities with other hostel's all around Barcelona. It feel like a home an i met some great people there. If you are ever in Barcelona go to hostel one!
