Hotel Indigo Barcelona - Plaza Catalunya

Un Hotel encantador, con muy buen gusto, Para repetir y recomendar.
De los poco Hoteles que están mejor de lo que aparece en las fotos. Los detalles muy cuidados y la decoración exquisita.
El servicio Impresionante.

I can't give more than 2 stars for this hotel. We payed for taxes too much. I though kids under 16 years they don't have to pay, but I guess I was wrong. I found on internet that taxes are cca 3€ per person, you charge us 5€. People on reception should be a little more friendly. If is hard to say Good morning, Hello, Hola or whatever find new job. I never seen in my life in 4 stars hotel that dirty plates, towels are left in hallway for 2 days. They don't clean toilets, just new towels and you have to ask for them. Something positive, nice pool for chilling, good location. Except that nothing more.

We were very disappointed from the hotel. We booked in March two rooms with a connecting door and after we paid the fool amount they told us it’s not possible without any reference. On top of that our Luggage was left unattended until our rooms were ready.

People don’t stay in this hotel. I and my family were staying in this hotel. One day when we came back from a trip, I saw all our luggage was upside down and their staff stole all our hard earned money. On calling the hotel manangement they were first cooperative but then became rude. Even reported to police but the hotel management asked police to stay aside and the higher management never came infront of us. We were begging and asking for cctv footage, no one helped us. It’s a terrible hotel, if u don’t want to loose ur stuff don’t stay here. They are continually saying police is handling the case but it’s clearly their staff took they should compensate it but they are saying nothing unusual happened how it is possible even.thieves….

Baño con productos de limpieza y cuidado de la piel y cabello de Rituals, secador. Ducha amplia y cómoda de accionar y fácil acceso, suelos antideslizantes.
Cama de dureza adecuada y altas, así como buenas opciones de iluminación directa e indirecta.
Tabla de planchar y plancha disponibles en la hab, así como caja fuerte, nevera individual y para calentar agua.
Falta por probar los servicios del hotel

As seems to be the case in all of Spain there is a concerted effort to get smokers to take over all outdoor areas. We had a room with a great patio and fortunately it was off season so we were mostly on our own outside. But ashtrays are everywhere and the patios are smoking AND right next to a smoking area. Healthy nonsmokers: do not get a room with a deck or patio!

The Indigo hotel is always located in the prime location and the one in Barcelona is the same. Situated in a historical building, this Indigo hotel is clean and nice. Staffs are super friendly. Highly recommended

I can't rate the rooms as I'm sure they are not all as bad as the one I had.
I was on the street side and the noise from outside was loud. All day and all night long with cars driving by.
Make sure to ask for a room located away from the street.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Indigo. Positives are the location (you can walk to most places of interest) and the friendly staff on reception. The bar was closed for the entirety of our 4 night stay, which is a shame as it looked nice and meant we could only really use the hotel as a place to sleep. Hopefully it will reopen soon.

Really amazing trip. My luggage was damaged before I arrived the hotel and the hotel receptionist Ms.valerie helped us to handle everything. We translated a thank you letter for her. She was so kind that we will still choose the hotel next time.

Spacious room. Bar and restaurant were closed due to Covid but hotel staff were friendly. Small but well equipped gym. Nice pool but it was too cold to use mid January. There is a lot of outdoor terrace space creating an oasis away from the street noise. This is a well located hotel minutes from Plaza Catalunya. Spent 9 days there!

Hotel ubicado en uno de los mejores sitios de Gran Via. Es precioso por fuera y por dentro es de un gusto exquisito. El personal muy amable y eficaz. Las habitaciones son una pasada, la decoracion es increible. Quizas podrian ser un poco mas grandes ya que son bastante pequeñas

Molt centric (al costat d pg. Gracia) relacio calitat preu molt be. El bany una mica just. D totes maneres tornaria a repetir.

Right at the city center with balcony. Great rooms, excellent staff and very neat and clean. Except breakfast not so good looks all frozen n stale

I would have probably given 4 star but then it’s an IHG property and is not really up to standards of IHG that I have seen in other cities/countries. Location is good as you are in the walking distance (if you love walking) to most of the famous places. I feel the rooms need upkeep as we could see the torn sheers and soiled curtains. The room size is just good enough. The breakfast was good, it’s just that the hotel itself did not seem too welcoming. Nothing wrong with the staff though, it’s just the vibe of the place that would probably not make you feel worth of an Indigo/IHG 4 star property.

Prenotando per telefono hanno confermato che era possibile anche colazione gluten free, invece non c'era ASSOLUTAMENTE NULLA e non hanno rimborsato il costo come promesso. Posizione buona ma servizio pessimo

Hotel is bit far from the main area, you have to walk at least 1 mile for central Catalunya, many services discontinue due to Covid-19 but I must apprise the staff who are very helpful. Over all great experience.

I have stayed more times in Barcelona and, definitely, it has been the best hotel where I have been hosted. The team is amazing and the décor is cozy and different. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options of food for the price. The restaurant was closed due to Covid but as it is in the city centre, we preferred to enjoy the city and eat around Rambla Catalunya. Amazing.
