61Terresa was great. Wonderful company and a great cook. Loved the cooking class. Would definitely do another cooking class with her.
Very good english speaking class with Eduardo! Lots of hands on experience (cooking in pairs), lighthearted session. Eduardo shared lots of knowledge about cooking and Spain, yet did not impose his culinary techniques onto the class. It was tons of fun!
Eduardo led an incredible class. He made everyone feel welcome, and clearly has a wealth of knowledge about both the food we were preparing and the history of the area. I enjoyed getting a chance to go to the market with him and hear his insight there, and of course everything we made was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend!
We LOVED the Paella Cooking class with Cooking Point on our recent trip to Madrid. Definitely a great addition and way to try the local dishes paella with chicken, calamari, mussels, and shrimp, as well as gazpacho and sangria! We enjoyed the trip to Mercado San Antón to gather fresh ingredients for cooking too.
Excellent tapas class! Food turned out great and instructor was wonderful! The history on the food and sangria while we cooked was a nice bonus!
This was such a wonderful experience! Eduardo was awesome - it was great being able to go to a local market and have him explain the different types of traditional Spanish food and their origins. I loved that the class was small (8 people). It was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone - including solo travelers!
Fantastic! This was a complete bargain for the price. We had a blast not only cooking tapas, but learning more about the culture of Spain. I can't recommend this enough. One of the funnest things that we did in Madrid.
I took the morning paella class one day and the evening tapas class the next. Elisa and Eduardo were both great teachers. I highly recommend both classes.
I enjoyed the class tremendously. The location was great. Eduardo was patient and invited questions on all topics. The cooking class included historical background on the region and origin of each dish. I liked that he was organised and moved from recipe to recipe seamlessly. Sipping sangria throughout was a nice touch. I look forward to attending his next class.
Highly recommend! We did the tapas class. We made so much food and learned about Spanish food, culture, and cooking. This is a must-do if you are in Madrid. Thank you, Angel, for a wonderful class and experience!
Superb experience from start to finish. Highly recommend if you have time in you trip to Madrid.
Great fun, and tasty! Great for a group experience. Not serious, but I enjoyed the results very much.
We took Eduardo’s Paella class and could not recommend it more! Whether you are a visitor or new resident like us, it was a really special experience.
Eduardo took us to the market & taught us about local produce as well as Spanish agricultural, all while getting our fresh ingredients for the class! He was an amazing chef and showed us how to do everything. He was patient, kind and again, I could not recommend this class more!
Eduardo is a very nice man with a lot of knowledge about Spain. Getting to go to the market with him was a great part of the experience and super informative. I would recommend this to anyone going to Madrid. Oh, and the food is delicious!
Definitely a worthwhile and recommended experience in Madrid. Eduardo patiently answered every question we had on Spanish food and culture and explained all the steps in the recipe very well. Unlike other cooking classes I've taken in other countries, Eduardo's class takes food hygiene quite seriously. Masks were worn except when eating.
My husband and I took the tapas and sangria class with Eduardo. He was a wonderful instructor. He ran the cooking class with excellent timing and skill. We replicated 6 Spanish dishes plus the sangria. We also got to sample a regional cider and a vermouth from Spain. Eduardo shared a lot of information with us and answered all our questions. It was a very enjoyable class! Highly recommend when you are in Madrid! It will be your best souvenir of Spain.to go home and make yummy tapas for your friends.
I took the evening Tapas class with my family. We had such a great time learning about and how to cook different tapas. Eduardo was a great teacher and explained all the steps very clearly. The food and drinks were enjoyable.
Super Cooking Class! Eduardo is super nice and he explain every receipe with history of tapas! Great Moment and amazing food
I highly recommend this class, alone, with friends or even family. A very interesting tapas class, great atmosphere, a very dedicated chef.honestly the best cooking class I had! No need for goods skills: the chef ensures to teach every technique!
We learnt how to cook a wide varieties of tapas: patatas bravas, tortilla de patatas, sangria, cider chorizo garlic shrimps and crema catalana.
The chef took the time to explain recipies step by step in english, told us interesting cultural and personal anecdotes.and of course gave us all little tips to ensure the success of all participants!
Thank you so much to cooking point and its skilled chef for this wonderful moment!
