Recomendable, todo fue de acuerdo a las condiciones iniciales establecidas y el personal fue muy atento en todo el proceso.

Earlier this month we rented a car at europcar Madrid. It was a first time for us, we ordered a VW Polo on their site and paid everything in advance as we knew we were going to be in a hurry. Once we arrived they told us the VW Polo wasn't avaible and they would give us a smaller cheaper car. We refused this, we were there for over 40 minutes before they finally arranged us a car. In those 40 minutes the lady behind the desk tried to sell us many new deals which would made it more expensive instead of giving us the right information. The car itself was pretty new and okay. When we returned the car it was in the same situation we rented it in. We even went to the carwash to make it even look better. A few weeks after we rented the car they keep finding things to make it more expensive.
-Day 1 since we returned the car, The car was in good condition but wasn't full of petrol they say even tho we went refueling it 1km before the airport. +48euro
-After 3-4 weeks, all of a sudden they find a minor scratch on one of the rims even tho the car was in good condition 3 weeks before it. + 96 euro

We will never be using europcar again, as they seem reliable and there prices are good. After the rent they find ways to make it expensive and they are just looking for some money. If we try to contact them they don't even answer on our questions.

When I make my reservation for the car with you and the company europcar the total of the car for the 6 dAys was $526 with the insurance that you offer me in the transaction one time I arrrive to the counter in Madrid airport the toll me that the insurance was run and don’t cover a lot of thing, and they charged me $ 570 more for the car that I rent just for the insurance  , was a horrible experience for both company because they never give me my $80 of the insurance that I already pay before I don’t recommend this company at all, was unfair that the car cost twice one time you arrive to the airport, they toll me that he can’t do anything with the money that I was losing, the only thing  that keep me taking the car was that I was traveling with my baby of one year  , and also they toll me that they can’t help me to put the car seat in the car that was the top of all, I never experience something like this in my life, we had to get the keys and find the car by myself nobody helps us, so unprofessional

This post relates to my car rental from Barcelona airport (31/10) to Madrid airport (07/11). Initially they told us that we did not have any other option than to get a Fiat Tipo Estate full of scratches. At the end, in Madrid they claimed that there was a new small scratch on the driver's door. I had to pay 180 euros for nothing as I was not to be blamed for it. I had a small video of the car from Barcelona airport but it was already late and the scratch was not fully visible as I was filming quickly around the car. At home and in full screen, I was able to spot that the scatch was there already when we got the car in Barcelona. Stay away from Europcar in Spain and in particular if your check-out and check-in stations are different.

Hace más de una semana por asistencia me han dejado un coche con un depósito de 150€ el cual una semana después de entregado el coche no me devuelven el depósito

De vergüenza esta empresa! Llegada a las 11: 00 de la noche un vuelo voy a recoger el coche con la previa reserva y la señora con una cara de perro y con unas ganas locas de irse a su casa ve que mi tarjeta del banco no pone el nombre (cosa que era nueva y no me había fijada) le doy otra y no la vale xq era de débito Intento pagar la fianza que te piden en efectivo y tampoco la vale así a la señorita.sin precio aviso viendo que se acerca la hora de irse anula la reserva cuando encuentro otra opción el precio ya se a triplicado.es fin llorando me quedo tirada en el aeropuerto teniendo una boda a pocas horas.no lo recomiendo x nada del mundo y por supuesto voy a denunciar los hechos

Contraté un coche para ir de de MAD a VLC por un importe en la T1 de Barajas, que a la llegada a Valencia subía a 100 euros más, la letra pequeña. Me engañaron.

¡¡NUNCA CON EUROPCAR! Me dieron un coche con muchos daños (y caros de reparar) que no estaban escritos en la hoja de entrega, para que los pagara al devolverlo. Me quejé y me dieron otro coche, pero se averió! Dos veces! Durante 200 km. Se retrasaron más de 1 día en darme un tercer coche. Total: de 10 días de vacaciones, 2 perdidos por Europcar. Por supuesto sin compensarme ni 1 €. No pongo menos estrellas porque no hay.

Grand theft robbery and preying on people after long flights. I reserved for USD1400 for a month and upon getting the car the price went up all of a sudden to USD3700, using the excuse that I didn't have insurance even though I did pay for it. Also they make sure the car is in another terminal so that they look super helpful when they manage to have someone drop it off. Total con artists. I returned the car at a local city agency after 3 days paying EUR700 and then booked the same exact car for EUR700 for a whole month. So basically, booking a car at Madrid Airport for 3 days costs the same as a whole month in the city. They should be ashamed of themselves. NEVER AGAIN.

El día 28 de enero devolvimos un coche en la terminal 1 de Barajas y mi hermanito se dejó el movil en la parte trasera del vehículo. Nos dimos cuenta a los 15 minutos y automáticamente me puse en contacto con atención al cliente, el cual me informa que pasará enseguida la incidencia y se pondrían en contacto conmigo para la devolución del teléfono. Pasados tres días, vuelvo a llamar y me informan que NO ENCONTRARON NINGÚN TELEFONO MOVIL, lo cuál es completamente mentira ya que sabemos perfectamente que estaba ahi. Esto los deja como unos ladrones con muy poco corazón ya que viéndolo, se sabe que es un móvil de un niño, que para él tenía mucho valor sentimental y probablemente la persona que lo tenga no le valga para nada. Penosa la gente que tienen ahí trabajando.

My review used to say: "No problems, easy" and was changed on the 26. Feb 2020 to one star. Reason: this company really had the guts to charge my CC three months after a rental car return for a stone chip on the windshield that was not in the driver's field of view and right at the limit of the maximum allowable length. Europcar customer service at the airport insured me that everything is fine and no further action was necessary. Now three months later I was charged € 184 with no prior notification, a practice that is more than questionable. The provided damage pictures by the company are more than questionable and provide no details. Conclusion: dishonest company that intentionally misinforms cutomers about their true intentions! Never, ever again! At least there is enough competition available to choose from!

SCAM. Cars are damaged, a lot. And if you don't take their insurance, they'll find something wrong with the car and basically rip off your Mastercard insurance. Also, I refused to pay for something I didn't do, they charged my credit card directly without my consent. The man in the parking lot told me that "the vehicule was EOL and that we should have taken their insurance".

The rental car service closes at midnight and opens just at 7: 00am. So, if you arrive in the middle of the night, tired after a long flight, you have to wait until 7: 00am to take your car. This service should be 24h. We waited until 7 o'clock to get our car, but when we went to the counter, the attendant told us our car would just be ready in one or two hours. So we had to wait one more hour. Then, at 8: 00am we went to the counter again and there was a short line, but the two attendants took half an hour to attend three people. Meanwhile, all the others rental car's companies were fast in their service, because there was people arriving and no queue. It doesn't deserve one star because the attendants were very polite and tried to help, but their system is the worst.
