Saw 2020 Ford Ranger on internet site for Adkins and went up that day and met with Ron Marsh and made the deal. Very easy, good price up front and the smoothest car buying experiences I've ever had.

I arrived early at 7: 00 without an appointment. I was addressed politely and the truck was taken in right away. I got the works and my 20000 mile checked. I was in and out in 45 minutes.

I would like to see more resolutions on addressing any and all recalls in a more sooner than later time frame, 2-3 year old issued recalls still not being dealt with yet, with no update as to when they'll be dealt with, but overall top notch place to go to for all other issues.

I made a appointment for my second oil change on my brand new truck a week before I came in to the dealership to save time on waiting on them to service my vehicle and was told that it didn’t matter that it was still going to be a two hour wait. They did the service and then told me that my rear right differential has a bad leak. They then told me not to drive it so I asked for a loaner car and then they told me because I did not purchase the truck there that they would not give me a rental car. We bought a 2020 Ford Fusion from this dealership three weeks ago. I guess that didn’t matter. Took it to another dealership for repair. Akin ford is to big for there own britches. Go somewhere else!

I’ve had my Ford Fusion in and out of the service department more times than I can count on two hands. First was issue with the battery multiple times and then the radio multiple times. I recently took my car and waited for two hours only to be told I have to bring it back another time for them to drive the vehicle and run more test on it and I will not be provided a loaner vehicle during the 4-5 days they can possibly have it and will have to provide my own transportation. My car will not go out of sport mode and has been that way for over two weeks. At this point I’m so frustrated with the vehicle I wish I’d never purchased it. If a problem comes up with your car unless there is a code that comes up they will not fix it.

I actually enjoy having my car serviced at Akins Ford. They are very thorough they don't try to sell you things that you don't need. They're waiting lounge is super nice, spacious and accommodating. They have complimentary sodas and coffee Wi-Fi access and several other amenities.

Purchased a new 2021 F150 so far its been a great truck. Got the 5.0 L in it and its everything and then some. I would recommend Akins Ford in Winder to everyone looking for a new Ford.

Do not buy a gas 6.2 F-250.
My new truck still has issues that haven’t been resolved after being at Akins for 2.5 months. This includes me going in twice to ride with technicians to show them the issues. There is a clunk and surge at a slow stop or a slow roll in traffic, a gear growling noise from the drivetrain when in 3rd gear under light load, a/c compressor makes a clatter noise, wind noise from the passenger window, exhaust leak, lifter tick when restarting after warm and when going from reverse to drive there is a pop in the suspension. ALL of my issues where said to be normal that there was another new truck on the lot with the same issues. I asked to drive that truck to verify. The new truck did have the same drive line noise/clunk surge issues but what I want to point out is when I test drove my truck I was only allowed to drive on the flat street in front of the dealership which didn’t show any of these issues. When I drove the comparable truck I was allowed to go on streets with curbs and hills which magnified the issues. When I arrived back at the dealership from driving the comparable truck I had the service manager and driveline technician with me and asked where to park. I was told right up front the man was there to purchase the truck we were driving. I asked to speak with him and the service manager and technician grumbled they didn’t want me to talk to him. This leads me to believe these trucks are being sold knowingly with these issues and no fix. I feel that me and my family have been taken advantage of with this purchase and now I’m stuck with this truck. However the loaner vehicle situation was great easy to pick up and drop off. The 2020 F250 6.7 had absolutely no issues. No noises no clunks no surges.

First, I live 30 minutes from dealer. Dropped truck off Sunday night to get backup camera replaced. Notified Monday it was ready for pickup. Couldn’t get there until after closing. First time putting in reverse, camera not working. Wasted hour round trip. Get a call Tuesday now fixed, camera wire was disconnected. Don’t see how that’s possible if checked when put out for pickup. Another wasted hour round trip for my wife so I can pick up.
