A V O I D! Not only you should expect to wait in line long time because they are extremely slow, but also they are absolutely unprofessional people. They treat customers like fools and I had to refer their terms and conditions several times to get what I've paid for. Now I'm reading the other reviews and I can confirm they are a total SCAM

Too bad i cannot give minus points. THE WORST RENT CAR EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE! I rent cars at least twice a year since 2009, and even despite the fact that rent car personnels are known to be rather unfriendly, this was a whole new experience for me. I don’t think i will ever use this company’s service again.

Avoid Goldcar. I've lived and rented cars in Madrid for 2 years and Goldcar is the worst. 3 times I've rented with them and each time I was met with unpleasant surprises. The first time I was told that without an international driver's license they would not give me the car which I had reserved at a cost of 40€, a beat later they said that if I paid 300€ I could have it. The second time I rented with Goldcar the car was seriously damaged, covered in dents, scratches and one side of the bumber was literally hanging off the car. They had not marked a single one of these pieces of damage in the little car diagram. It took me 30 minutes to mark it all on the diagram and take pictures of the car. The third time, I returned the car and the guy said the contract was closed out with no additional costs. I asked him a second time to repeat that the contract was closed and there would be no additional costs, which he did. A week later, Goldcar had withdrawn 224€ from my account with no notice, email or bill of any kind. They're getting away with dirty business. Avoid them.

Llego alli despues de reservar un coche con la maxima tarifa (354€) me dicen que tengo de limpieza 208€ por un lapiz de un hijo mio y una pelusa en la alfombrilla, nadie me avisa por correo ni por telefono de que tengo esa deuda, total no puedo cojer el coche por que no tengo ese dinero, me quitan esos 354€ y me dejan sin vacaciones el hotel que reserve 150€ no reembolsables, el taxi para ir al aeropuerto 30€ lo vais a pagar bien caro esto que me aveis echo sinverguenzas, y una denuncia mas

When you think everything is fine, you'll receive at home, one month later, a charge of 45EUR (supposedly as admin fee for a traffic fine). Of course, they are not able to provide any prove of it, so you need to raise a claim to Mastarcard/VISA and get reimbursement (from Mastercard/VISA) after two months. Shame to Goldcar Barajas!

Cheap Price But not Realistic, you are forced to add insurance, once you are at the desk, otherwise they refuse your booking,
They will find an excuse, like an issue with credit card. All in all still cheap. But I don't like this way
Of business. Some people could believe what they see on the website.
But you don't get a car for 180€ euros per week. Impossible!

But the worst thing was, they have a Shuttle that pick you up at the terminal.
But we had too wait 1,5 Hours,

Total scam. Not told about loads of hidden costs when making a reservation. Hired loads of cars in the past without problems. After returnig the car my deposit was withheld for 2 days (most people are back in their home country then). When the deposit was returned it was 30€ short and I had an email saying I had been charged for 'special cleaning', even tho the car had already been checked in ok. I was still in Madrid so went back to the airport. I was met with a brick wall and multiple other customers complaining. Wish I had read the reviews before booking, seems other people are having very similar problems. Avoid!

La atención en el mostrador fue deplorable. No la voy a utilizar más. Me destrataron por contratar con otro broker. Si no quieren eso no permitan la venta por terceros y listo. No se la tomen con el usuario final.

Goldcar les cargará tras el alquiler y en su tarjeta de crédito, 45€ por “gestión de multas”. No les van a enviar la infracción porque no existe. Deben reclamar a su tarjeta de crédito (Mastercar/VISA) por cargo fraudulento. Ellos abrirán una investigación que -con suerte- acabará por devolverles los 45€. Tras ello, Goldcar les enviará un correo diciendo que han “detectado” que se trató de un error administrativo. Que poca vergüenza!

Goldcar will charge you -after the rent- on your credit card € 45 for "fines-fee management". They are not going to provide you with the fine evidence because it does not exist. You must raise a claim to your credit card (Mastercard/VISA/AmEx) for fraudulent/non-authorised use. They will open an investigation that -hopefully- will end up reimbursing you the 45€. After this, Goldcar will send you an email saying they have "detected" that it was an administrative mistake. Shame to Goldcar!

Goldcar vas vous facturer -après la location- et sur votre carte de crédit, 45 € pour la "gestion des amendes". Ils ne vont pas vous envoyer l'infraction parce que cela n'existe pas. Vous devez réclamer après MasterCard/VISA pour utilisation frauduleux. Ils vont ouvrir une enquête qui, espérons-le, finira par le remboursement des 45€. Après cela, vous recevrez un courrier de Goldcar en indiquant qu'ils ont "détecté" qu'il s'agissait d'une erreur administrative. Quelle honte!

ESTAFADORES! Justo antes de denunciarles me devolvieron el dinero que me intentaban ROBAR. Perdieron mi hoja de checkout en la que estaban registrados los múltiples daños de un Fiat Panda muy deteriorado con mas de 25000kms y me cargaron a mi tarjeta MAS DE 300 EUROS por esos daños enviándome otra hoja distinta firmada posteriormente por ellos sin estar yo presente y en la que no figuraba ningún daño. Firmaron el segundo registro de daños en blanco al percatarse de que habían perdido el original. Un intento deliberado de falsificar un documento que de ningún modo se podría catalogar como error humano. Ademas mucho cuidado con sus letras pequeñas y confusos contratos con los que se aprovechan de los clientes inexpertos que creen haber encontrado un chollo y al llegar al mostrador se percatan de las abusivas franquicias que retienen y de las políticas de combustible por las que te pueden llegar a cobrar fácilmente 150 euros por el tanque de combustible lleno con el que te entregan el vehículo.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The people working here are incredibly rude and disrespectful! Do not rent from here! I prepaid for a car from here and when I went to pick it up the lady working there told me I couldnt rent the car even though I had all of the required documentation (Identification card, license, and credit card). The previous weekend I rented a car with the EXACT SAME documents. She told us that a passport and an international drivers license are required to rent a car- which is a complete lie. Neither of those documents are required, in fact the website clearly states that you may use a passport OR any other official identification (such as a NIE or other ID card). Also, a rental company cannot deny you a car for not having an international driving permit. This place is so horrible!
