Gourmet Madrid Tours

We had a great tour with Carlos, and I was surprised that we did not only get to taste a great variety of delicious tapas and wines, but that we were also really full afterwards.

We had a great experience on our tour of wineries in Madrid! Our guide, Ismael, was phenomenal and provided us with a lot of interesting information and facts about the wine industry in Madrid. We highly recommend this tour!

We had Carlos and he was AMAZING! Can’t say enough good things about him or the tour. Definitely a must on your first night in Madrid and ask for Carlos!

The wine tour was great, Ismael was a wonderful tour guide. Bodegas Nero was the best! Would definitely recommend this tour.

We had an excellent tour of Madrid wineries with Enrique! He was very knowledgeable about the region, the wines, and the history of the wineries we visited. Overall great guide and very friendly. It was incredible meeting the winemakers at each winery we visited. Seeing the clay pots used for fermentation at the old wineries that have been making wine for generations was a highlight. Each stop included some meats and cheeses with generous pours of wine. Highly recommended!

Me encantó! El guía, Raul, fue excelente a través de toda la experiencia. El hecho que el guía era muy conocedor y nos proveía trasfondo antes de llegar a las Bodegas hizo que la experiencia fuera más llevadera ya que al llegar a las Bodegas llegamos con un conocimiento base lo que permitió que pudiésemos escuchar más relajados.

La selección de las Bodegas crearon una imagen completa de la evolución del desarrollo del vino y fue muy interesante. Además, los vinos que probamos eran de muy buena calidad y los pudimos disfrutar. Se los dice una que no bebía vino tinto desde el 2018. (luego de una noche de esas jeje)

Les recomiendo la experiencia, y si es con Raúl, mejor! Si la hacen con Raúl, vayan a su restaurante que recomienda!

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment. Même avec la barrière de la langue nous avons réussi à participer… le vin et l’alimentation réunis toutes les nationalités. Merci à Carlos le guide très professionnel et très agréable. Je recommande cette activité à tous les amateurs de vins et de tapas

Attended some great local bars and tasted great local dishes. Our guide Carlos did a great job in combining wine with the food and could tell a lot about the wineyards where the wines came from. Excellent value for the money.

My wife and I took the Ruta De Vinos Y Tapas tour with Carlos as our tour guide. I can’t give enough praise to Carlos. He is a fabulous guide providing an entertaining evening filled with local Madrid history peppered with some general information about Spain. Whether we were walking between or at the four locales Carlos provided a continual stream of information, witticisms and commentary that rounded out a pleasurable experience.
The four establishments we went to are listed below along with the wine and tapas selections. As my wife and I prefer red wines we stayed within our comfort zone and enjoyed the reds except for the third stop, where we experienced a very fine vermouth, Lacuesta. I would rate it as a top 10. Each of the reds was exceptional. Others on the tour who drank the white wines expressed the same feeling.

Muy recomendable para hacerse una idea de cómo es una tarde de tapeo y vinos 'a la madrileña' en los restaurantes más históricos y con solera del centro de Madrid. Carlos, nuestro guía, nos contó tanto datos históricos como anécdotas a lo largo del tour. Ameno y muy divertido!

My tour guide was Carlos and he was amazing! I am so glad I gave this wine and tapas tour a go - there are some dishes I would’ve never thought to order and I cannot wait to return to some of these restaurants for these dishes one last time before leaving Spain.

Not only was Carlos super informative and made the tour very interesting and fun, the group I was with was also an amazing group of people to experience this with. 15/10 would do this all over again.

We took the wine and tapas tour through Madrid, which was a fantastic way to get a lay of the land, both geographically and food-wide. We hit four locations, each with their own unique setting and dishes. It definitely set the stage for some of the food we would continue to eat on our trip, but never would have thought to order (e.g. Vermouth, oil/garlic shrimp, cider). Our guide Carlos was informative, humorous, and a great host.

We did the private wine tour with Enrique—absolutely stunning! We LOVED visiting the caves and learning from Enrique about the history/culture of the area. 100% worth it.

Perfect tour! What can I say? We were a group of 10 and we did the short excursion tour where we visited 3 different wineries in Madrid Region.

The tour was very well organised, professional and on time. Our tour guide Jorge was PERFECT, very kind to all of us, he would answer all of our questions and he was at our service for anything we needed.

It was so much fun and the highlight of our trip in Madrid! Even if it was a bit cold at that day it didn’t matter at all.

The wines we tasted were really unique and tasty, and each winery was different from one another.

I had an incredible time during the tapas and wine tour in Madrid. I was traveling solo and it was a great way to explore the city with a great group of travelers from around the world. Paula was an awesome guide! Being born in Madrid, she was very passionate about her city and culture, and she spent a lot of time explaining the city history, food and wine. Paula also took the time to take photos of the group and email them to us. The food was great and the wine delicious! Highly recommend!

Great tour and excellent introduction to Madrid and the tapas scene in Spain. Highly recommended. Four fantastic bars with plenty of food to enjoy with a variety of wines and drinks of choice. Met some lovely travellers from other countries. The guide was excellent and made the experience even better. Great value for money.
